Waving hanky Why hello there. Boy how I've missed you guys. Hadn't realised I'd been absent for so long. Apparently I last was on they day before my birthday, July! Shame on me. Haven't a chance of reading back but will try few pages so I can catch up on the gossip.

News from Chez Nan would rival Gone With The Wind for an epic saga. The short version :
VDH has been poorly, I'm actually sat watching him sleep next to his hospital bed. Last few days have been scary but we are through them and determind to be positive. He has turned the corner today, "All will be well" I am one very lucky lady xxx
BD kidnapped me and I've lost months, the latest series of events kick starting my road to return. I am back, stronger and wiser than before woo hoo xxx

I'm so looking forward to our christmas chatter. I've logged to to some wonderful pms, you know who you are wonderful people. Special hugs to my sis from another miss aka Freespirit and Festive Princess aka JJ and Baby Boo Sis again proving she's got a sixth sense txt as I'm sat here bewildered, you really are an angel. JJ what sort of Nan falls of the edge of the world answer a blooming shocking one. Huge catch up required. Boo hope you are ok my lovely, you had such an horrendous time. Hope at least you are able to read the posts if not up to typing xxx

Our wonderful thread has moved on so much in my absence (obviously) Im really hoping a few will remember me and many will become part of my cyber family xxx

  • Ooooh thanks for the Next heads up!

Well Asda was a success in terms of wiggle behaved and stayed asleep, however I didn't end up getting much. Disappointingly there wasn't any Christmas stock out. I did get a few bits for my parents food hamper, i'm going to £land and 99p shop on Sunday so will pick up some more bits then. I was tempted by the Christmas magazine but the last couple of years I have bought it I've been a bit disappointed so told myself I wouldn't get it again. I really love mags like Prima at Christmas, they have some great stuff in so am holding out for that. Having said that, i'll probably succumb at some point and buy the Christmas magazine!

Hmm, Wiggle is STILL asleep and it's been about 3.5 hrs which is quite long for him during the day, I don't know whether to wake him up or not. He's 7 weeks old. Some people advise you to wake them up and some people say leave them if they're happy sleeping. I'm not sure if it affects his night time sleeping or not really.
  • hello - I wouldn't wake him, my son used to sleep for hours too, just contented babies. saying that, at the age of 2/3 he also napped in the afternoons for hours but still went to bed happily. my friend thought I was daft missing out on playing with him in the day and when she babysat for a day once told me afterwards she kept him awake - and that he cried for hours and was really unhappy - I never let her babysit him again!
