Hugs Chrissy,Horrible situation, makes you feel sick to the stomach.I have recently had a "situation" with MIL.I cried my eyes out for 2 weeks and she phoned the other day calling me "love". Her attempt at an apology I think ,but I don't forgive that easy! Will be a long time if ever before I visit her again.Life is too short to pander to selfish people, that's what I justify myself with.:o

    Just had a thought.
Pigpen can you recommend anywhere to buy cheap wool?
I bought some in the summer from B&M and made a crochet blanket for DS's girlfriends 21st birthday.
I have seen a lovely red and white snowflake blanket on pinterest that I will get my Mum to make as her craft work is second to none.
I went to B&M on Monday but their new stock is all autumn colours and marl like wool.
So anyone know where to get cheap red and white wool? Vx

Not sure if it's any help but I get mine from deramores or woolwarehouse both online. It's usually delivered the next day

    And deramores go through topcashback

wool4less.co.uk and woolwarehouse are the cheapest places at the moment Deramores is far from cheap by comparison! Depends what you are looking for.

Woking yarns is mainly the ice yarn but it seems to be very nice and soft and cheap http://woking.yarnshopping.com/

Look what I picked up in tesc@ this morning! First one I've seen this year. Won't get a chance to open it until tonight 😢
It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.

Also don't suppose anyone knows where I can get silver base plates (if you know what I mean, not sure what they are called really :/) very cheap. Or near Worcester and could lend me a couple for an evening... myself and another rep are hosting an Avon party, Christmas themed next month, and want to set the table up. Have the red end sorted but can't seem to find silver :( x

    Pixtotts ASD@ have these

I hope this is what you are after - they had them in £land earlier in the year but haven't seen them recently.

I was going to say I might be able to find our silver place mats which you could borrow if that would work, but it seems justb has found just the ticket, free C&C from Asda, all sorted. I'm actually tempted myself! :D
  • I picked my chargers up in £land last yr & I think they had them the yr before too. Haven't been in for a month or so but might be worth a look?
Christmas preparation wise, not done much the last few weeks due to funds but have been sat here the last 2 days crocheting my christmas blanket watching early bird christmas on QVC!
Am hoping to bake our cake next month & ~yay~ pick up the Christmas mag at the weekend.
Have listed some items on eb^y as my little elves have picked their halloween outfits & I'm hoping these will pay some towards them.
Will do the same the next few months to go towards any Christmas bits needed.
