I haven't fully read through, I will do so in a moment. Just popping to say hello, all but 3 people are finished for Christmas now
Successful day shopping with my mum! However, I'm feeling a little silly. Once my OH said that he wanted some timberland boots but settled for cat boots as they were cheaper, they are fine but when shopping today I thought hmm he has been working so hard and I saw some had a think and brought him a pair (£160) - I know don't tell me off!! I got them home and decided to show him as have 28days to refund if need be but he said as lovely a thought he couldn't let me spend that money and he is now feeling guilty as we are taking them back Sunday for a refund and now I feel a little silly :( he kept saying how nice it was but his cat boots are fine and he doesn't wear them that much so he felt they were too much and now I feel silly for not ringing him first (meadow hall is an hour - hour 1/2 drive) and he feels bad cause he doesn't want to sound ungrateful but he was being honest. Oh what a pickle *holding head in hands* I must say I'm glad he was honest though so we can go get a full refund! I will ring back in a mo as I don't feel too sleepy! Oh I'm sorry this is a long post I think I'm just venting a little cause sometimes my brain runs ahead of itself!

Debenhams always have the CAT boots in their sale I manaed to buy a few pairs as gifts for just £36

Thank you!! His current CAT boots are OK, so we are just going to return the timberlands and I will still give him the jumper I got on sale!
freespirit - thank you :) I actually saw your reply last night and it did actually make me feel a little better. Although I was sure that I was not the only one, it just feels better when you know for sure :o Once I had a sleep and a think I realised he is just being :money:

I brought a large box of tictacs from Primark yesterday to do something like this :rotfl: if you search 'grinch pills' they are really good too!! I brought a apple pack to do the grinch ones. £1.00 per big box - I didn't think that was bad.
Big thumbs up for your DD getting her cast off today, hope it all went well. Also big hugs it's awful when people can be so mean!!!!

Well I have sat and gone through plenty of the items I brought yesterday and I am happy with everything else I got, including most of the 'special' christmas cards for parents/grandparents from card factory. Just OH's parents and his brother & sister to get special cards for now. Only people left to buy for now is something else for my mum, dad and FIL. Couple of bits for grandparents but I know what I am getting them - meal worms, fat balls and bird seed and then some foody bits from the Christmas market that Chatsworth house do.
I am going to a Jamie at Home party tomorrow night - I totally forgot I said I would go and I don't know if anyone else ever feels this way, but I feel like I ought to buy something so hopefully there is something cheap and useful.

Right, time to finish some tidying up before heading to my Thursday night bootcamp :)
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Well today is good day my DD gets her cast off:j
I've had a bit of family trouble basically my mum is very selfish and constantly winds dd up to the point dd is very upset, so we have had a major falling out ,the last time this happened we didn't speak for over 2 yrs but I suspect this maybe a more permanent split.

I've tried to explain how dd's autism affects the way she interprets things but I've received a torrent of abuse back so im done. I'm just waiting for a letter from my dad telling me how awful I am. Last time he said if it wasn't such a waste of fuel he would drive here to hit me !:(

On a bright note my Christmas shopping list has now reduced by 50% lol

Sorry to hear that, sending hugs x
