Just a quick pop in, don't seem to get on the computer as much now OH starts work at 6am - early bedtimes!
Congratulations on the new baby princesskitty, and as all the others have said don't be hard on yourself at all, and always feel free to moan here.
Sorry for any birthdays I have missed.
Just wanted to mention that my B&M has started stocking Christmas chocolatesand I'm very jealous of those with Studio books already, mine is hopefully still on its way!

Hi again everyone-thanks for the welcome!
Well planning for Christmas is underway now. I've got my spreadsheet and have spoken to DH about doing homemade gifts for friends and he's on board, so I've just got to keep up momentum now!
Will go back to all the fabulous on page 1 and see what ideas I can use!
Hope everyones had a good day. QBxOfficial DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

morning, not nice weather, but plenty of indoors stuff to do. Pity the CBA fairy has visited and left a generous helping for me. (l'd gather it up and throw it out, but l CBA!)
No, this will not do, l must get cracking, make a list of things l need to do, and find the kitchen timer to keep me on track.
Hope you all have a good day, xxxx0 -
hia. ive been lurking around for the past couple of weeks, but thoughtit about time i said Hello!
I am already on my way to having christmas sorted for end of november.
Yesterday i picked up a mega bloks thomas set at £9.99 reduced from £29.99.
I have a few Science museum stuff reduced from around £11.99/15.99 down to £2.99. and a few smelly gift sets. I've downloaded the app Gifted and i am about to picture everything and allocate to the relevant people. Trying to go away for our first holiday in over 5 years in January, for my mums 50th birthday. Going to be expensive for me as im the single parant so i pay more for my room than my sister does for 2 adults and 1 child.

Hi again all, hope you're having a good day so far.
Well done on those bargains LolaLemon - some great discounts - where did you see them: shop or online? Any places in particular you go to?
Just a quick question: What edible gifts could I make well ahead of time, either in storage or in the freezer? Just thinking about what I could make for people to go into biscuit jars that DH can engrave (as long as he spells 'biscuits' correctly, which he didn't last year - how embarrassing!!)
Thanks all. QBxOfficial DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

Hi all. Can I ask a small favour please? I missed out on the Nintendo 2DS when Tesco reduced them to £79. If anybody spots them anywhere at or around this price again could you let me know please? TIA.
In other news, not had our roof done yet as DH had the date wrong it's next Monday instead! :rotfl:Savings Account - £0.00

Which 2DS are you after Hanley? Just the normal one or the XL? And which colour?
Hope your roof gets sorted soon! My hubby is a nightmare with remembering dates and things, I always joke I'm like his personal secretary :rotfl:

I didn't think the 2DS came in different sizes. We're gettting one each for DS and DD so were looking at the black and blue one for DS and the red and white one for DD. It's the new version that doesn't fold. They're around £100 in most places so £79 at Tesco was a great price but they've gone back up again now.
I always say I'm like DH's secretary too! What are they like?! I wouldn't have minded but I took the day off work to be there when they started, I also set an alarm to make sure I was up and dressed when they got here. It was only when they hadn't arrived at 9 that I asked him to give them a ring to check the date! Can't have next Monday off so he'll have to sort them out with brews etc on his own now. Luckily he works nights so it will just be a case of not much sleep for a couple of days.Savings Account - £0.00
