He is very gorgeous - you just have to get an outfit for christmas now0 -
Hi Everyone, can I join please?
Looking to get ahead of the game for Christmas this year and not having to resort to panic buys and getting friends and family cr*p presents!
Thanks already to OMO for the wonderful lists of links at the start of the thread -some great ideas to get me started! According to my countdown widget there are only 136 days to go to 25/12, so I'd best get cracking!
I hope to report in periodically with what I've done to help me and also to see what everyone is up to!

Harrods got back to me & we're arranging for them to send me some custard apples monday on an overnight shipment - felt very silly asking for 4 custard apples (they're £3.50 each ) but my hubby is hard to please so hopefully will go down well, I felt more stupid because I imagine people spend £100,000's in Harrods so asking for £14 and paying shipping seems silly but hey ho! :rotfl:
This is very random! Is it a present for hubby then? I hate to say it, but when I googled custard apples there was an article which was talking about how Asda started stocking them in 2012. If you've got a decent-sized one near you, maybe that might an option for future? It's very thoughtful of you to go to all that effort though, I'm sure he will appreciate them. Out of interest, how do you serve them?
princesskitty29 Thomas is beautiful, congratulations! I can't wait to see the photos of him in lots of suitably embarrassing Christmas-themed outfits
Please don't feel guilty about the baby blues though, it's not just you being daft, it's a horrible thing and you should definitely keep speaking to as many people as you can about it, talking should help you process the trauma. Keeping things to yourself for the sake of not wanting to sound silly is not healthy, so feel free to share on here if you don't feel like you can in RL. We're all here for youAnd please speak to your GP if it doesn't start to ease, they'll have heard it all before and should be able to advise you.
Queen.Bess what else can I say other than welcome to the Christmas MadHouse! :j0 -

I've only seen The Birds. Watched 'Hitchcock' and 'The Girl' and enjoyed both, but The Girl especially. Hubby is more knowledgable than me on it, but we live close to Leytonstone, so I've seen the murals there and there's a new thing on the wall of a building in the high st. http://www.24dash.com/news/housing/2014-06-04-leytonstone-birds-mural-honours-local-boy-hitchcock
Also watched 39 Steps at the theatre-but I didn't know it was a Hitchcock thing at the time. Love coming up with hamper suggestions, though.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Princesskitty-congratulations! Don't fret about the baby blues. They are so common and you should talk to someone about it-not just try and deal with it on your own. I'm sure there must be organisations to help if you don't want to see your Dr. <<hugs>>Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Dear Princess Kitty, a big congratulation from me too, baby blues are the pits, but they pass, and your lovely boy is there to cuddle.
Welcome to you Queen Bess, we are all a bit mad, but not dangerous.
Day out yesterday was lovely, the bub is 10 weeks old and scrumptious, l haven't lost my touch, either, he stopped crying when l held him, and at one point he even fell asleep in my arms. mmmm.
Primarni yielded 4 t shirts and a fleece for DGS at £1 each! and a top for me for £4 well pleased.0
