Dd has her cast on now but because its an unstable fracture she isnt allowed to walk on it and must have a wheelchair!
The cost of hiring one is almost twice the price of buying one £300 to hire for 6 weeks or £169 to buy one new.Needless to say there's a new one on the way.
The pain meds are knocking her out so at least she is getting some rest.

There's not much in the way of Christmas prep being done ,if anyone sees a dalmation ptint fleece dresing gown anywhere can they let me know please Amazon are showing one but its not in stock .

just as well I came on here as it's reminded me I needed to book the day off work to go to a christmas show/Fayre in Norwich in November :)

Evening everyone, hope you're all well.

Well an email from Early Learning Centre advertising their sale has led to the pirchase of 3 Xmas gifts for the girls plus a random gift that's not yet assigned to a child on the list! There were some good offers,so much so that a couple of items sold out after I'd put them in my basket!

If nothing else over the past few days this thread has taught me to not hesitate when the sales are on, so thank you all for helping me to get on the road of being organised!

Well I bought the 2ds from Smyths. Ordered Thursday, arrived Friday! DS and DD are nearly done now, just need to get them an outfit each and stocking fillers really. Thanks again for the link mandco. :D

Decided I'm getting pyjamas/dressing gowns for the many neices, nephews, BILs and SILs that I have so on the look out for bargains in a range of sizes! Hoping I can get a few people sorted each month so that nearly everyone is done by end of November. Tried to cut down my list but it's impossible with DH being one of 8 and most of them are still children.
    Savings Account - £0.00 :(

    Weight Loss - 33lbs lost 9lbs to go :)
  • Morning :)

I read the thread but haven't posted in a while. I am xmas crazy, been thinking and planing since March/April!!!.

Anyone who has LO's that like Playdoh, Poundworld are selling make it kits. 3 playdoh colours and instructions. Hubby got two sets think he said there are 4 so will get the others for stocking fillers.

Am currently making hampers for 2 sisters and parents/in laws with a budget of £1 per item, not sure what to put them in though as i have seem plastic containers for £1 in asda and poundworld not sure if i should get a disposable box for some ( storage reasons) any help on where i could get something will be great :)

    Afternoon All!

So I have actually bought a few bits for Christmas stockings I'm trying to not go mental this year, so Mum will be getting a dishwasher and Dad a phone and a ring.

I think I will be starting looking for DVDS, CDS and books, too. No idea what extra bits I'll buy Dad as he's packed up smoking, but I don't want to encourage the drinking because that does seem worse. maybe some tools perhaps or clothes.

I love that I came home from work the other day and Mum says to be I've bought the malteasers for the stockings and you'd be proud of me I checked the dates and everything! :rotfl: She is understanding my madness I love it!

Hanley I flicked through the studio catalogue online I think they might have the cheap pjs you are after.

Think I'm going to phone about ours because I'm sure we never received the last book that you got which is a shame as I love studio.

    Love and hugs All
