if you would like the recipe for the cat food let me know. I have 4 fussy ones and one that will eat anything. but they do eat this, but I mix it in with the other food. which sounds a bit useless, but I have found out cat food is about 4% meat!!!! and this is 60% so it was worth the fuss. :)

oh could i have the recipe please?

Tryin to catch up, but my: can you lot talk :rotfl:

Cant believe the price to hire out a wheel chair! Hope she is on the mend soon.

decided im making a few olafs as christmas gifts this year. I have a load of white wool needing to get used up. And i seena nice pattern for wrist warmers so i will give them a go for the adults.
Need to see if i can get good prices on the canvases , i think they will do for my parents and sister. Just leaves my brother and he's tricky!
Holiday got booked!!! parents are going to pay for the kids and then split the money equally between the adults. Which is fantastic of them, as i have to pay the under suppliment charge due to it just being 1 adult and 1 child in the room. also my sister then only has to pay for her and her boyfriend plus about £20/30 more for the 'share' of the supplimency charge, but is way cheaper than if they paid as 2 adults and 1 child. Gotta say, i have amazing parents!:T so All Inclusive, January, Sunshine here I come!!!

Hope everyone is doing great. I still have to work my way back through the pages

Flowfy - I hope they do too. I never realised cat food was that bad, so yeah I'll definitely have to get the recipe off you try our two on it. I used to cat sit for some family friends, and their cats had scrambled egg for breakfast straight from the chicken that morning, then I'd have to take turkey and beef out of the freezer for their dinner, those cats ate better than most people! lol.

freespirit66 I had an amazing holiday thankyou :) the weather was brilliant, only 1 day we couldn't use the boat! Fingers crossed for the same again next week because were back down there again :o!
Haha that was exactly what it was like with the candle! I lit it at night planning on relaxing and doing a bit of reading... nope white noise going off in my ear... lol. Such a shame I loved the idea of it, and it smells so good! I'm really fussy when it comes to candles!
I know this is candle blasphemy in here but I don't like Yankie candles..... ....*awaits the firing squad*

  • LolaLemon yay for the holiday! Where are you going?

pixtotts sorry to hear about the job application, that's rubbish! I do stuff like that. I do hope it's not too painful to do again.

I've just started to browse my collection of Good Food mags, the good thing is I stopped reading them in December last year and as I want to look at them in order it means I'm starting with a Christmas issue! Yay! :D

Whooaaa I must remember to keep better up to date as we edge nearer to Christmas, you lot can talk :D and it's only been since Thursday, It's fab though :rudolf::T

Well, I have offically finished one now, not far off a couple others. Parents, brothers and grandparents need finishing, and OH I need to have a think what else to get for him. Have a few ideas for the mum's and they won't be far off finished, the Dad's I always struggle with and same with both brothers. Will have a sit and look about though see if anything catches me as good.
If anyone see's any good perfume sales, please let me know. Hoping to try and pick up the CK Shock for SIL if I find it at a good price.

Freespirit - thank you for the reminder for food buying for the day/christmas weekish I always forget until nearer too!! How funny but not funny with the chocolate fingers, good getting a £10 voucher though!!!

I hope all the missing Christmas organisers are OK :)

Cat food recipe. you need to buy a vitamin supplement off ebay called SF-50. I think the seller was called viovet. and it was about £12.00. it is in powdered form. it took about 2 days to come.

600g mixed meat (liver/kidney/on sale meat)
    200g brown rice
    200g vegetables (carrots/broccoli etc)

put in a saucepan, just cover with water. bring to the boil and boil for 20 mins.
let cool for a short while.
add 1 tablespoon of the vitamin supplement (cats need this and it is in all cat food)
blend to a pate like consistency.
refrigerate or freeze into small portions.
when introducing your cat to the food, just give it a small amount mixed with its regular food, as the meat content is far greater than cats tummy has been used to.

the meat and veg combinations do not matter, you can experiment, but it does have to be brown rice and not white. my cats favourites are liver/pork/carrot/broccoli.
