Okkkk....i'm going to do my best to remember as much as I can here.
princesskitty - congratulations on your beautiful son Thomas!! I really hope the baby blues pass soon, as people have said talk to anyone and see the DR's if it goes on for too long. I know my mum suffered with my brother, and she did get through! My best wishes to you.
chrissyg -sorry to read about your DD, I hope it isn't too uncomfy for her
mrsgigglewick - oooo exciting for yankee christmas candles out soon, I am thinking of getting some for my Grandad!
welcome to all newbies
Someone mentioned about christmas cards and bits in the card shops? (sorry I can't remember who now!) YES last week I saw these in our local Clinton's, took a picture and posted as part of my blog I was so excited :rotfl:
When I figure out how to post a picture on here, I will post OH's birthday cake I made, he was really happy with it and I was so pleased with how it turned out! It was Homer Simpson lay on top 'asleep' of a doughnut.
We had our friends wedding last Saturday, it was a beautiful day and I did my reading in Church (which went well) and OH did his best man speech and he did so well, I was really proud and he was very nervous before hand:)
Managed to catch up on some of the housework and organising tonight, just have our room, the spare room and the hall way to finish. As you can imagine there has not been much Christmas stuff undertaken, however, we are heading to the east mids outlet at the weekend to get some birthday presents and hoping to pick some bargins up for christmas presents too.
I am hoping to keep more up to date from now (although I say this often and then I end up busy so I vow to do my best)!
Sorry to anyone I missed and I hope everyone is wellChristmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Glad the washing machine was fixed easily Hanley, although I now need to confess that I never knew washing machines had filters
Hi folks, sorry not posted in ages but have occasionally gotten so far as to read a bit occasional the thread. Little ones have been keeping me busy. DS1 is 3 and is currently a Spiderman fanatic, loves jumping off walls, steps, furniture.... He wants to be a Power Ranger when he grows up. Been busy buying his uniform for preschool and changing his bedroom to a Spiderman theme. DS2 is on his feet and cannot wait til he can run after his big brother.
For his first birthday in October I want to buy him a Woody outfit from Disney DVDs store, their new baby fancy dress range is so cute. He loves being on the rocking horse and has always made himself bounce on the end of anyone's knee. I have bought a Fisher Price garage (Jan sales) for Christmas.
Also today, bought Jungle Book and Monsters Inc DVDs. Lots of Disney DVDs are reduced to £7 on Asda website. Free delivery. They are selling for this much secondhand on ebay.
Speaking of, I have lots listed on ebay atm. An unwanted gift we got last year was despatched this week and will pay for these DVDs2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Hi all, thank you for your congratulations, support and encouragement, it really means a lot. I have managed to keep up with the thread but don't have a spare minute to post. After a tough few days I feel I am turning a corner with the baby blues and I am starting to feel better. Now we just have the battle with feeding and sleepless nights! Yesterday was a difficult day as I couldn't put him down at all.
I was doing really well with Christmas prep pre-baby but I'm not sure I'll get fin.wished now!
CHRISSYG I'm really sorry to hear about the incident with your daughter, that must have been so hard for you considering the positive progress you were making. I do hope this is a blip and she recovers well soon. x0 -
Good morning, am up, bright eyed and bushy tailed (well, my hair looks like a brush,-of the 'yard' variety!) as fave niece is coming this morning so that I can write her place settings, (l have stared at this bit for ages, as l can't remember what they are called, the cards that say who sits where, is what l mean.) She asked if l would make soup for lunch, so l made tarka dahl last night as she loves indian food. -the soup dragon lives again! l googled naan bread recipes, but chickened out.
Nev the shred is back, he has been awol due to injury, but reckons he is ok now to resume phase 2 of the garden.
Thanks for the heads up on the Sun token, l got 2, gave one to big bro and DSIL, and got a big hug in return, as they are on a tight budget too.
Mine has stocked up the freezer with enough for over 18 portions of various meals.
Hope you are feeling better, P-K, and that Chrissy - missy isn't too sore after her injury, and that it is a good day for us all. xxx0 -
