dropsofjupiter those pendants look lovely, what a good find. I hope they are a good enough quality that you're looking for.

b_e_g sorry to hear you're not feeling great, I hope it finally clears up for you. Poor you having to take 3 different lots of antibiotics, I had to do something similar a few years back and it's not great. You might or might not already do this but I would suggest having some probiotic yogurt/yogurt drinks every day as antibiotics can upset the good bacteria in your tummy. Yes I am excited about meeting baby soon but also a bit apprehensive as i'm sure the little one is going to turn our lives upside down! :p For the better i'm sure. :)

junior_j it's always rubbish leaving somewhere/people you love, it's good you have another trip booked in October so you have something to look forward to. I hope your medical appts go ok. Enjoy your new laptop and your time by the sea!

freespirit bargain with the TV! I'm sure you'll enjoy it even more now. I saw those drawstring bags on QVC, they looked really good and would save a lot of hassle. Although I have to admit, as stressful as it can get at times I can't imagine not having wrapping paper and bits of sellotape everywhere! :rotfl:

My Lindy Bowman kraft bags from QVC came yesterday and they're lovely. I really like traditional looking things and because they're made from brown kraft paper they have a nice traditional look and feel to them.

Going to watch the grand prix today, I really enjoy F1 and i'm a massive Hamilton fan but i'm getting so frustrated! When Mercedes were handing out luck they obviously didn't give any to Hamilton!!

GREAT BRITISH BAKE OFF stars on 6th August! :j Mega excited! :T Although that's my due date so better get it on series record....

You may or may not have seen on the Grabbit board that Cath Kidston has free delivery all weekend with no minimum spend. I bought a lovely book bag as a Christmas present for a friend for £8 reduced from £16 and free p&p.

Could you possibly share it before I buy the bag I have my eye on?

Back from the sea side :) it was lovely. We went swimming the sea (its a blue flag beach which I am told is quite nice lol!) we came home showered got dressed , few drinkies and a chat. Then we took a drive to a beautiful pub on the sea front and enjoyed a glass of wine and a nice meal. Home , more chatting and drinks , I slept brilliantly for the first time in ages! Fell asleep within ten minutes of being in bed , slept right through and woke up with a spring in my step!

We had coffees , showers , walk round the fair and arcade back for lunch now back home. My head has been a bad whilst away but bearable due to the distractions of walks , chats and just generally relaxing.

    Anyway that's my story!

Actually going to upload most my pictures to this laptop as it holds (280 thousand) pictures and means I can free up some space on my iPhone lol.

Hope you are all well! Has anyone started spread sheeting or writing lists for Xmas? Think I need to start now!

Hope everyone is keeping well. I'm just back from my summer holiday. The weather was great (a little too hot especially at night) but I had great time exploring another corner of England that I hadn't been to before.
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Evening everyone, just been to DD2s and had a bbq, the house is really coming on now, i know there is still so much to do but it looks so much brighter, clean and modern. BTW i did get £10 voucher from argos, DS suddenly said today oh dont forget i still have the receipt and a voucher :o:o:o so i might treat myself to either some towels or a new alarm clock if i can find it again in clearance :D

PRINCESSKITTY oh blimey i can haha, im not the worlds greatest wrapper and sellotape drives me barmy i have to use the sellotape strips that fit in the wrist strap so its much easier to wrap! Glad you are pleased with the Lindy Bowman bags.

I'm a little like Freespirit. My spreadsheet is a perpetual one that rolls over from one year to the next..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I do the same with cards, birthdays, special occasions etc. As one year passes I add for the next one. We always have a special meal on Christmas Eve and my spreadsheet is already complete for the list of ingredients I need to cook with.:j:j
I also have a list of drinks/ cocktails - and components of- and easy to make and freeze sweet treats/ canapes/ nibbles etc......:p
As you can probably tell I am really anal about Christmas.:D:D:D:D
I already have my goose fat and some of the ingredients for our meal bought and in my special "Christmas foodstuffs. Not to be eaten" box:o
My family think I am mad and just give that "Oh! She's off again" smile when i mention TBMAO( The Big Man's Annual Outing)....Incidentally, this is the name of my file of spreadsheets. Haha
