I really enjoyed my few hours peace yesterday ,I didn't get anything Christmas related done but I had a stress free and cheaper food shop and blitzed dd's room.

  • Hi Guys

I've been rather awol, and missed a few birthdays, so belated best wishes to those people.

Hugs to Peppapig, so sorry for yours and DHs loss. Hope Nanamia and OMO are back to join us soon, and hope everyone else is keeping well!

I haven't been very festive, and missed QVC as I was at work :( Been buying birthday present though which is almost as good as Christmas presents! :D There are some amazing things on amazon for pence. I've ordered http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004JAT6B6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CPGXYK0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 just to see how the quality is. Less than a pound lost and lesson learnt if they're no good!

Sorry I haven't been around much lately but haven't been feeling 100% but I am a little better in myself now but still on antibiotics (6 weeks now - 3 different types)

Have been dipping in and out of reading posts - think I have read some many times and missed loads so all I can say is sorry - must try harder at keeping up with you all.

Re qvc - when we were first able to get it - it used to fascinate me but I never actually order anything - now it just hacks me off.

Hope OMO and FM are ok and that the lo is making progress the poor little mite.

Hugs to you and your family Peppapig - such a tragedy.

If anyone is chatting to our Nana - can they please pass on my best wishes. I am so sorry she is having a rough time - she can really do without that.

I have just ordered the little owl DropsofJupiter - I really know how to push the boat out :p

Bet you are really suffering with the heat now Princesskitty. You must be so excited :j

I am another wilting with the heat. I don't really do extremes of temperatures - much prefer spring and autumn - sorry all you sun worshippers out there.

Will promise to keep up to date with you all.

I am a quarter of the way through the book (on ipad kindle) however its already seeming so good that I refuse to read more than one chapter a day because I don't want to finish it too soon!

peppapig I am so sorry for your loss and the difficult hardship it brings , here is a virtual hug my sweet.

freespirit- How are things with you my lovely!?

nan hope your doing well lovely lady!

TO every one else. Massive big hugs.

Sorry I have been so quiet. Leaving Scotland and my goddaughters upset me big amounts. I cant wait till October when I can go back to them.

I am writing this message on a shiny new fast laptop which I purchased interest free for 12 months from Very and got just under £9 cash back for it on quid co! so that's my reason its Mse friendly lol! I did need a new laptop for my degree work. SO now my old laptop will be used just for music and films on my iPhone and ipad lol.

My head hasn't been great and I will see neurologist on Monday followed by neurosurgeon in London in August.

Anyway my uncle and his lovely partner live literally on the sea front so I am staying there tonight! Looking forward to it! Got to update phone , bath , pack and they have just shown up lol.

Sorry to mention Mrs M in earlier post that I have been thinking of your mil. Hope she is continuing to make good progress. Your little birthday/anni break sounded just perfect.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone

Evening everyone, jeez its muggy tonight i am sitting here melting, talking of qvc i absolutely loved yesterdays tsv, the sacks that you just pull the drawstring, how blooming easy and quick would that make wrapping presents, i hope we get some like that in the cheap shops before christmas, they looked fab too! I picked my new tv up, as well as being reduced by £150 when i paid today they knocked another £30 off, so i got a tv worth £650 for £370 :money:well chuffed for DS to save a bit more. Although i didnt get a £10 voucher, you must have to buy something out of the new catalogue to get that??

MRSINVISIBLE im glad DGS is enjoying summer school, that is such a good idea to get them familiar with a new school

PRINCESSKITTY yes i have to watch how much i actually do early for christmas because i have peaked far too early before now and by christmas i have had enough :)

CHRISSYG glad you had a nice day

DROPSOFJUPITER wow, how did you find them, what fab bargains?

BEG oh im sorry you are still feeling rough, i do hope you feel better soon

JUNIORJ oh im fine thankyou my lovely, sorry your head hasnt been good again, your London appt is nearly here, lets hope they give you some good news. Aww i bet your godchildren were upset at you leaving too, just focus on october x Have a lovely night tonight at the seafront
