Peppapig - So very sorry to hear your sad news, I echo all that the above people have said, they are better at words than me but I can do *hugs*

Your DD and family will love the Harry Potter experience! It is expensive but it is totally worth the money, you can spend as long in there as you like, apparently the records are, 45mins for shortest time, and 13 hours for the longest :o! We were about 3hours, and we didn't read all the signs there are could easily be much longer... You get a badge when they scan your ticket too so get a free little memento as you go in. Also all the refreshments are charged at normal starbucks prices so they aren't taking the micky once your there either.

I've had QVC on briefly, they talk so so much, my brain can't cope with it this early!

I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....
  • Oh Peppapig i'm so sorry to hear of your family's loss, I can only imagine what a shock that must have been. It is always a lot more difficult to deal with when somebody goes before their time, but I do hope you all manage to come out the other side and enjoy the memories you all have. As others have said this is definitely the place to come if you need a little comfort and support or if you need to get something off your chest. xx

pixtotts yes definitely don't forget the tea and biscuits this time! I only found out by accident, I went and ordered a cup of tea and the lady noticed I was holding a 1st class ticket and said it was free. There is nothing better than free tea! :D Apart from Christmas of course...

freespirit thanks for letting me know about the Lindy Bowman stuff, I was wondering as I was buying it if it was going to be any good as I haven't bought stuff from a shopping channel before, but this has put my mind at rest.

good morning, haven't posted for a few days , sorry, this weather is lovely, but it makes lots of work in the garden, which l love, but it cream crackers me.
Peppa pig, sending you and your DH love and condolences, hope that you are coping ok.
Princess Kitty, 'wot, no baby yet?' get on with it girl! seriously, hope you are ok and enjoying the preparations, bub will arrive when bub decides to.
I missed the QVC stuff, and l missed the Argos last day, I must have had brain slip or something! but whoever it was who posted about the clarks shoes for pastie-paws children, thank you thank you, got 2 pairs for DGS, who, at age 11 is in an adult size 10 shoe.
DS2's birthday on Wednesday, so went out for a meal with him and his 2 best friends last night, really enjoyed it, it is good to catch up with them.
DGS is half way through summer school, his new secondary is running a2 week scheme for newbies, he is loving it, and looking forward to starting there in September. He cut the grass (again) with his new toy, a petrol lawn mower, which he loves. I'm sure he would take it to bed with him if it would fit. l now have a skinhead lawn, bless.
Off to make coffee, and do the ironing, before the heat gets too much, xxxxx.

freespirit that's really sweet of your son to treat you to a TV, bet you can't wait! I know what you mean about QVC, i'd never really seen it before but it is annoying when they talk over each other! Although it didn't half get me in the Christmas mood, I've just wanted to watch Christmas films since! But I don't generally do this until at least Oct/Nov so I don't peak too soon!

mrsinvisible it must be a good peace of mind to know that DGS is enjoying summer school and looking forward to going in September, it's such a good idea. You've just reminded me that I have a big ironing pile and it would be good to do it whilst it's not too hot - but I can't be bothered right now! :p

It's funny for me now, I used to relish Saturday's but all days are pretty much the same now! Good thing is DH is at home so i'll get him doing some of the jobs that I can't. :)
