Ruth_honey - I avoided the fault in our stars for ages convinced all the hype was over nothing, but my god, it's brilliant! It's now one of my favourite books :D that and One Day by David Nicholls

Is One Day that good? I saw the film and found it a bit dull. His new book, 'Us' will be out soon, so I hear...

Thanks for the birthday wishes! We have been camping at Cosford air show for the weekend. My birthday was the only day it poured down! Thunder storms and everything! Dd (4) slept through it all, ds (7) was terrified and ended up in bed with me and dh. 3 of us sharing a small double airbed made for an uncomfortable night! Other than that we had a fantastic time. We're off to Elvington air show next month hoping for better weather next time! Hope everyone is ok and that fingers is home soon OMO. :)

Tesco Direct are offering a double up clubcard points boost from today until 8 September on all their items, so £5 = £10. I have therefore pre-ordered Fifa 15 and the latest Call of Duty games for Xbox for my DS for his birthday on 13 December. I combined the double up boost with a £15 off a £75 spend code, and saved £54 :money:

Ruth_honey - the book is much much better than the film! :) . I got a friend of mine to read both, One Day and The fault in our stars, he liked the both too but preferred One Day by miles, for me they are more equal pegging. I found the book you really get to connect to the characters and see more sides to them, the whole way through, and their friendship develops much more realistically, and smoothly. x
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

I'll add it to my list of books to read, then. :)
Most times I prefer the book to the film anyway. Thanks for the recommendation.

Ruth_honey hope you enjoy it :D
One day is the only book that I've got to the end and thought "I must make everyone read this!!" I felt I had to tell everyone about it which I don't think they appreciated as it was 3 am or something stupid :P

I always prefer the books too, I always try not to see the film until I've read the book, and always find myself thinking I think I'd like that more if I'd just watched it and not read it first :(

I'm going to Harry Potter Studios tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
