I'm one that love love loves the heat :D

We only get it for a few short weeks of the year. The majority of the time it is either wet, overcast or cold - meh :(

I find it is easier and cheaper to cool down, than it is to try keep warm :money:

When I win the lottery I plan to follow the sun :p

Sorry l missed the birthday, mrs moneypenny, glad mil is getting on well, enjoy your break, xx
Omo poor Fingers, hope they get it sorted soon, and he gets quickly back to normal.
I love the hot weather all day, but want cold at night, ah, well.
Nev the shred has started the next phase of the garden plan, he dug out a load of shrubs and trees from the area l want to put chippings on, and has recycled them to another of his friends who wants a hedge, this friend has some paving slabs that I can have for a path round the edge of the chippings too.
More courgettes picked, cooked in garlic, and eaten with baby taties and coleslaw sounds euck but was lovely.
Friends daughters 18th birthday this weekend, so have 'rescued' a jewellery box and a make-up set from the Christmas overstock just need a card which l will get today, along with great nieces 1st birthday card.
Off to make coffee now, as it is DGS last day at primary and we will need t i m e to get him up and ready for it.

OMO- hope they can sort fingers out sooner rather than later.

Dd's test results came back unfortunately no bacteria, I ve changed the timing of the new meds and added Gaviscon to the mix and although its not cured her vomiting it has eased.

I'm finally starting to get a wriggle on for Christmas lots of deliveries and its even mostly wrapped!

I came home from work yesterday to a Moonpig flower delivery. The most beautiful bouquet from my wonderful niece in Scotland.

Sorry im another one who hates the heat .

I'm afraid that I can't take the heat either. I like going to see things whilst on holiday therefore the cooler temperatures suit me better.
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

  • Poor Fingers, hope that this is purely a precaution and he will be home sooner rather than later.

Another one who hates the heat, actually, it is the humidity as I love the heat in Egypt. Stuck in office, no air con but fan going like the clappers. To be fair, I have been told to buy a portable air con unit for my office as the other 2 have them, but my office is too small and it makes too much noise.

Went to see The Skylight last night, beamed into local cinema from theatre. Bill Nighy was in it and he was so funny, but worryingly, his character had traits which I could see in me
A smile costs little but creates much :)

I'm ok with recipes, I can't find anything on presentation and where to buy boxes etc.
