freespirit66 - Worcester is a very pretty city.
Especially when it's dry
And more Worcester flood updates... Water levels are still rising, they think it's going to go above 2007 levels. It was only 3cm off in one place this morning and they reckoned it's rising by 1cm a hour and still raining.
Worcester city bridge is closed, they were using a shuttle bus to get people over this morning but thats just been suspended too, my sister and her friends are trying to get us to go pick them up from college, they are worried about them closing more bridges and being stuck there bless em.

DH's car park is slowly but surely turning into a lake, he sent me a photo yesterday of it half-submerged, and 2 swans who were looking very interested in his car :rotfl:
That hail storm can't have helped matters, but I'd have thought Holt Fleet bridge would stay open for a bit longer? I can't believe how much water there is everywhere, it's just crazy! No doubt there'll be standpipes next year as this is probably the 'wrong kind' of rain...0 -
Would really really like the weather to bleep off now... had a flying visitor today of next doors 12 foot trampoline.. straight through 3 new fence panels. over the top of our shed. landing on top of the consevatory. then blew down taking my decorative green fence with it.. blah de blah! the owners don't speak a word of english so god knows how we're going to sort that one out... not that they are in and not that i can move the bloomin great big thing! lol
on the plus side my xmas jumpers came! they are very well made and i want to keep them all for me! but that would mean i'd have 6 xmas jumpers and one xmas tshirt hahahaha. I'll just keep the one i think... that will just give me 3 jumpers.. that will last the whole of december rightTotally debt free wohooo 2014

Oh gosh please stay safe everyone. They've shut the M4 here so our town is blocked with traffic. It took OH over an hour to get home from what should have been a 15 minute journey.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

Thought it was one of the huge tree's at first. I just sat there going oh.. dog was barking.. libbie said 'oh look what the circus has sent!' lol Just glad its not damaged the conservatory. The rest can be replaced at little cost.
Still waiting on next door to turn up or someone to help me move the thing. its blocking access to the main garden so can't let the dog out.Totally debt free wohooo 2014

mrsgiglewick- how scary, good job you or the dog weren't in the garden at the time and that it didn't damage the conservatory, hope you get it sorted with the neighbors x0 -

MrsG's... no one was hurt and it is only 'stuff' damaged and when it is a memory you may well see a funny side.. I see another reason to ban trampolines for domestic situations.. Hope it is shifted soon so dog can go pee!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
