Lazyitus has struck in the house of Nana. Think the last weeks excitement has caught up with me. I used my lazy time wisely and caught up on my recorded tv shows (as DH was threatening to delete!) Horrendous explosion Linky makes us all take stock of our blessing! it's a miracle everybody came out although burns are such horrible things. Thinking of those involved and those shook from it too. xxx

Msgigglewick well I think you look fab :) I've got one last stone to shift now but it seems a little stubborn !!! And very attached :) You must be very, very proud of all your girls. All those hormones in one house - nightmare. Are you knitting? xxx
Hanley how frightening for you! I'm glad to hear the window is now sorted and sounds like the Doc Mc Stuffin party is coming together nicely too :) xxx
Linky I too remember 'Mind your Language' I was in the Granada region. Go you, enjoy your trip with or without 'friend'. Your DS does make me smile, and we all need that. Truly hoping today's events haven't unsettled him xxx
BBTHREE hi :) missed you too, can we please have photos of your new bedroom, I'm totally lacking inspiration well I'm fancying white (no surprise there) with maybe a turquoise and lime accents. Not found any bedding yet, or wallpaper. Think when the sliding robes have been ordered I will actually believe it's happening and the brain will start ticking. I'm very jealous of you and b_e_g who seem to have had your rooms done in a space of a week whereas mine will turn into an epic saga. But I've waited almost 30 yrs so a few weeks won't hurt will it :) xxx
b_e_g that may well have been a Freudian slip! I kept looking at it thinking it looked weird ha that's why. Beautiful new bedroom photos please, inspire me xxx
Festive Princess ooooh romantic walks with Matt, tell us more :) delighted that you are able to do some normal things! get the smell of the hospital out of your lungs xxx
Mrsinvisible you do make me chuckle with your bacon butty crew :) I hope the meeting re the schools went well but fear in this present round of cutbacks it may not have done :( xxx
his missus I knew you meant the phone but it made me giggle then I stopped and thought oh no my DC probably think of me like that haha. Then I thought your DM is probably my age. Noooooo I'm not ready to be an old biddy yet xxx
Mandco I'm glad the migraine was contained. They can be so awful, our Freespirit can loose days :( You've done so well on your bargains :) xxx
Mrs M I've popped the book thief on my wish list! I'm only managing easy reads at the mo so I may take a while to get around to it. But will it make me cry? My Mrs M Moment from Monday I'd congratulated DH as he's almost a year as a nonsmoker woo hoo! and I pondered and pondered until I realised I'm almost a nonsmoker for ten years so I did have a pat on the back :) both stopped in February just nine years apart :) xxx
Caitlyn I've made a little note to check out stumbleupon so will be back :) xxx
BBTHREE wooo hooo go you, reduced counselling sessions, please remember you still need to be kind to yourself. But oho yuck the dentist. You and b_e_g sound like twinnies :) Though I am with Mrs M and the other lovelies, that is definitely not clutter, if your DH is under any illusion send him to mine! I will show him clutter xxx
Freespirit oh no another migraine! you've been doing so well to swerve them :( Just look how well you and DD1 sorted the leaking roof :) A few months ago that would have been a huge set back. Wooo hooo we are getting our Freespirit back xxx
Murie don't know about you but sometimes when I've stayed the same clothes etc feel looser. I can't really explain it but I feel slimmer it doesn't just show on the scales! Are you drinking enough, that's my other thing, up your water intake it makes a big difference :) xxx

Nanamia- that's a laugh in our house cus I have severe anaemia and one of my ongoing 'symptoms' (apart from being knack***d all the time and catching any bug going!) is that I crunch on ice all day long!! I am addicted to it- so my water intake is well above what is suggested! (apparently its a common thing for anaemics- shame my family don't see it that way- I drive DH mad with my constant ice chobbling!) I sit and chobble and crunch my way thru the evening when he is trying to watch TV and he says he cant hear it cus of me! Tough!

Freespirit- hope everything is ok this morning when you check xx. Its amazing what we women can manage on our own when needs must. Yes your DD1 is may have come up with the idea but it takes teamwork to implement ideas so you have to take credit for that too.

Fingers crossed everyone is OK today and that the weather is kinder to everyone xxx

    Xmas Saver!
Just found out I know the family that lived in one of the houses from yesterday. Fortunately not one of the ones that blow up but the one the other side. Her son Kai was opening the front door (on side of house) when the other blew up. People had to help her carry him out of the front window. They are now homeless as it is not safe to go back. :(

The people here have been wonderful. Everyone has donated something. I have donated some bedding and frying pans. Dd has donated some toiletries.
Even our local Morrisons have donated food etc. :)

A local mobile home park has said anyone affected can stay they rent free until their houses are safe. :)

Oh Linky it's heartwarming to hear that the community are helping out. Thinking of all those affected, it's going to be a long job sorting everything out :( xxx

I don't believe it!!! Just spent an hour doing a detailed catch up post and it's only gone and lost it. How blooming annoying. I'm so sorry everyone. I had loads to say to you all, but I just can't go back and do it again. So I'll just send huge hugs to you all and will do a smaller post from the PC when I get back from water aerobics later.

Typically now I need to get moving, the cat has decided she wants to come and snuggle with me...:(

Oh no OMO is he alright? That is great the community are all helping out and not making money out of other peoples misfortunes, there are still some good people out there. The devastation of it all is just awful, they have lost everything but thank god no fatalities, how i dont know looking at the pictures.

BETSIE hello hope you are ok

Namia- I don't do ANYTHING quietly!

OMO- its good to know that people can still pull together in times of need, nice to see that folk can still be community spirited if the need arises, despite what we hear on the news so often.

Freespirit- glad it all holding up x Now about those cupcakes- any going spare cus I have a serious case of the munchies that I am trying to ignore...................and cant!!!!

Murie munch on some ice :) it's so much tastier than a red velvet cupcake haha. I wish. xxx
Freespirit I'm so very, very stubborn I don't break the diet except for Mondays. It won't last long, I will fall out with it and that'll be that. I'm not surprised you needed a treat tho with your blooming migraine lasting so long. Hate to mention it but is it time to book the you know what appointment ? xxx

Where is everybody, it's so typical I get to pop on a few times today and it's so quiet. Hope everybody is well :) xxx
