ahhh just spent ages writing a post and ds deleted it
omo thinking of those affected and glad things werent so much worse
feisty mixed news again and I cant imagine how hard it is to deal with the constant worries fro dh health but keeping thinking positive
freespirit your not alone with the diet blowing I've eaten far too much junk this wk when i'm ill I just seem to crave stodgy/high calorie food even more then usual and just eat whatever I feel like/can managethe main thing is to get back to the healthier eating once you feel better and not allow the bad habits to return for good.
popped back to primarni today and they had some huge reductions on baby clothes loads of stuff £1/£2 including fleece sleepsuits. picked up a lovely knitted cardigan for my neice to put away for xmasits a slightly longer length so thinking maybe get some leggings to go with it? its black/red/cream what colour would you go?
Red or black leggings rather than cream as I always feel that lighter colours show more dirt.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

FEISTY yes i agree, i have playlists on my ipod for different moods, it really picks me up, sunday morning i was in reggae mood (LOUD) haha, oh that is such good news about DH heart, but not about his liver, oh dear, what will they have to do, find a donor? How is he in himself after hearing that?
MANDCO oh isnt it such a blooming pain why we cant just stick to whats good for ushope you get back on track soon too, i think some nice red leggings would be lovely for your neice

I'm sorry I've abandoned you all
It's no excuse... but it's the lack of Christmas in my life....
And now I'm sneaking back in with tales that aren't related....
But .... I think it's important !
Time for change is a anti stigma campaign in England run by 2 mental health charities. Today 6th Feb is their first Time to talk day... And so I have!
I recently started a blog, and today I have talked The idea is to stop it all being a taboo subject... But it's not much good talking if you don't share, so I hope you don't mind...

Promise I will come back with something a bit more fun next timex
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -

PIXTOTTS thankyou for letting us read that, as OMO said beautiful words with such meaning, i have suffered depression for nearly 23 years on and off (mainly on) and i think it is something i have to learn to live with, i totally agree with you about the word depression being used too much and not in the right context. I have never felt ashamed to say i suffer from it, if people dont like it then that is up to them, and i have had my fair share of people saying 'what have you got to be depressed about' i just ignore it now and dont feel i have to explain myself. So good for you for speaking out, it makes me so sad that young people suffer so badly and feel that the only way out is to try to end their life, my DS tried twice but at the very last minute both times he thought of me and what it would do to me, and thank god got help, he is now very much recovered and actually at xmas came off his ADs, i am very very lucky that he had fantastic help and support while he was at uni, as i know a lot of people just dont get the help they need, so todays campaign is truly important.#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
Well Pixtotts I too echo what Linky and Freespirit have both said. I think I "followed" your blog but have book marked it just in case. Well done you for finding the words we struggle with. It really is good to talk, this thread and the lovelies understanding and support have been invaluable to me for the last couple of years. More than anyone will ever know xxxThe secret of Christmas

Pixtots, how right this campaign is, and how sad that it is necessary, Depression and Mrs I have crossed swords, and I dread it ever wanting a re-match, so I have every sympathy for those who are still battling it.
OMO , what day is it? Thursday? Friday? I love the quote.( Who is the prime minister?) So good to see the niceness of people, helping each other when disaster strikes, but good news doesn't make headlines.
DD had another cyst cut out of her armpit yesterday so she is out of driving commission for a couple of days, so I better get my taxi hat out. I too, am fed up of the rain, and the cold, and of being old and poor, so I cant escape. But I had a sunshine moment yesterday, I found the perfect dress for the two weddings I have this year, and it was in the sale, and was reduced from £69 to £12.99!!!!! Huge sunshiney smile. Oh, and I had a credit note which more than paid for it, so no real money changed hands.
Friend who recently got a dog is now looking for a new home for it. I hate to say I told you so, but........
Almost get out of bed time, have a lovely day, Red velvet cupcakes, Key lime cheesecake indeed! I am pounds heavier just thinking about them so I'd better think about lettuce and celery and ice cubes. xxx0 -
Pixtotts- I echo what everyone has said and applaud your bravery in opening up to the world about your feelings and your personal battles. I agree with what Mrsinvisible has said, I think its a damming indictment on our society that this campaign even needs to be run in the first place. As you so rightly say, its no good talking if no-one is prepared to listen. I, for one, am going to try more to be all ears from here on in........
feisty- again swings and roundabouts for you and DH isn't it? Im sure you are focusing on the positive rather than the potential negatives xxlovin' this site!

Hi all!
pixtotts, have read and posted x
Off on holiday tomorrow for 8 days of sunshine and can't wait. I'm ready for a complete break after the past few months. Some non-rainy weather will be welcome too.
Take care xxx0
