his missus - enjoy your holiday, you deserve it.
Received Ikea delivery this afternoon, so it will be all hands on deck tomorrow.
DS due in from work anytime now. Once he is fed he will probably disappear up to his den and DH and I were supposed to be watching a film but we are both so tired I am pretty sure neither of us will see the end of it. Anyone recommend anything on Netflix? (just in case we stay awake). :rotfl:
Take care everyone

You're probably fast asleep by now, but we watched Meet The Millers tonight and that was funny.
Also Now You See Me is good.
Good luck with the flat pack assembling tomorrow. Will send good vibes that all goes smoothly.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Oh PIGPEN thankyou for that i have put it in my favouritesmrsinvisible wrote: »Have a lovely holiday, His Missus, I am pretending it is sunny and warm here, but the cold toes and fingers don't believe me. If I could find my GUAG I'd do something, but as it got up and went I may just drink coffee and read my seed catalogues.
DD is still not driving, her arm is swollen and bruised, so I may have to do 'sick visiting' with a bag of 'spoiley treats' for her. Perhaps I'll bake her a cake? lol, no I want her to get better!
MRSINVISIBLE oh no what a shame your friend is getting rid of the pup already, i hope he finds a loving home, your were dead right of coursei hope DD enjoyed her bag of treats

SEQUEENA oh thats not good but at least you gave it a go, if you dont you will never know, when DS was four he had to have an op on his eye to put a plastic lens in, it didnt work or give him sight, but i would always have regretted it if we hadnt have given it a go
NANAMIA it will shift, just keep at it, you have done so well, :T
BLUEEYEDGIRL sorry we only have LoveFilm
RUTHHONEY oh i want to see Meet the Millers thanks for the recommendation
Todays Challenges
When we are depressed, we tend to do less and less because of the tiredness, difficulty sleeping and eating, and the negative style of thinking. We stop doing the things we used to enjoy. It could get so bad that we cant even go to work or do things at home. We want to stay in bed, or stay at home doing very little, and we might isolate ourselves from friends and family. Just increasing our activity and exercise levels can make an enormous impact on our mood

Good Morning!
Not much to report here on the Christmas front.
Had a lovely time at my friend's Chinese New Year party on Friday but arrived home to find the church minibus windscreen smashed - it's obviously personal, two attacks in a fortnight. We need to find another place to keep it, I think.
I hope the weather isn't affecting anyone too badly. Yesterday's workout involved pegging curtains on the washing line without them, or me, being blown away! I am trying to deep clean and declutter one room each month and the curtains were the last thing to do in the kitchen. Time to sort the DVDs in the living room next...
Free spirit, thank you for posting your challenges - the information is really helpful. SAD rears its ugly head here every year and the light box is out every day atm.
Hugs to everyone - I hope you're continuing to improve JJ.x0 -
Morning, lovelies, been awake since daft o clock, following from a dream that I had been diagnosed with diabetes, and have spent the time redesigning my diet and lifestyle to accommodate it....... even when awake I keep doing it! MrsI has gone batty again. I know it was a dream, but it wont get out of my brain.
Sequeena, so sorry that T's op didn't work, but as others have said, at least you both tried.
Nanamia, You will be pleased to know that I didn't make a cake, but DD was delighted with her new fluffy sox and slippers. And the strawberries were demolished in record time, even for her!
Ds has not had word yet about the job, but has been getting quotes from removal firms, (hopeful fingers crossed).
Mrs Giggleswick, you are so craftful (I didn't want to say 'crafty' in case it was misunderstood) and knitting can be very therapeutic, well done, you.
Happy flatpacking, B-e-G, hope it all goes together beautifully and easily. Photos would be lovely.
Glad you are back on top of the challenges, Freespirit, and I hope the Insect Hotel is for the garden!0 -
Morning all,
Ive not been posting much this last week as we are trying to get the last of the decorating done, just the bathroom and the hall to do . they both will take only half a day to decorate but 3 to prep as the walls are soooooo bad.
Not much christmas prep but i have ordered oh a hobbit t-shirt for his birthday so at least he is started.
Ive also sent all the cards for the year to my sister and mum [cheaper to put them all in one mail bag than post individually] we don't buy for birthdays the younger kids get £10.
My eBay issue turned into a massive problem so much so i have stopped selling as i don't need the vile aggressive issues that last sale brought with it.
Hope you are all ok.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Last night was brilliant, I have never laughed so much I was literally in tears. I love my friends.
I guess a major topic everywhere right now. .. Floods!! Expected to peak tonight locally but I can't see how that works if it's supposed to rain all tomorrow and Tues and apparently it's what comes down from Wales that really pushes it up....hmmmm. .. many of the roads from the city center are closed. I have to fetch my sister from college tomorrow definitely going to try and remember to take my camera with me x
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -
:bdaycake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYANDY :bdaycake:
What a day. FM has a cold and can't breath through his nose. I have not had 2 seconds to myself. He left just before 4, then I walked Mia.
Dinner is going to be a roast from the freezer. Aunt Bessie is coming into her own today.
BFF text today to see if I was still going on Tuesday, so it looks like she will be going. But there is still tomorrow to get through.
I have added loads of films and cartoons to my Pocket app from YouTube. I checked it yesterday and as long as you have internet access when you press play, you can then go into airplane mode.
Am off to look for a quote.0 -
Today's quote
There is a thread on here called ' Today's Caption' where someone posts a picture from a newspaper and people have to write a funny caption. Well ADS sent me this picture of FM last night and I thought we could all play ' Today's Caption' :rotfl:
ETA forgot to add my caption-

Floods are blah... having seen some of the videos on my facebook of peoples houses that haven't been in the news is terrible. to think they are less than 5 mins away too.. we currently have no train service at all. one road out of town is closed due to 2 landslides and more expected if the rain continues. we have to plan every step and what if's if we want to leave town. Plus side is seeing how the community has got together to help those in the neighbouring villages etc.
Very nearly finished the cape today, shall post a photo when its done. Had a day off yesterday of everything! other than taking dd3 for her optician appointment.. won't be using mr shoes optician again.. hour and 45 mins it took from doing the test to them putting the glasses through to be ordered.. seriously annoying lol.
Dh has finally started to tidy his side of the bedroom.. downside he's filled my side up of all his crap! now my side looks a right mess when there isn't normally anything other than the wardrobe in it.. cheers then!Totally debt free wohooo 2014
