Music can greatly affect our mood, choose your music wisely. If you are feeling depressed, choose upbeat, energising music. If you are feeling tense and uptight, then choose music that will relax you. Generally choose music that is the opposite to how you are feeling.

Hello again!
Was secretly hoping that my missing post from earlier might have appeared, but no...
I know I won't be able to remember most of it, but welcome to the new members, happy birthday to those I've missed, hugs to those who have had a rough time and cake/fruit all round!!! :T
I feel like I've been away ages, even though it's probably only a week since I posted. Went to see The Bodyguard yesterday. Glad you enjoyed it, nanamia. It was a matinee that I saw, so the understudy played Rachel Marron, but she was very good. What channel was that Wogan thing on? Maybe it's still on catch up.
What else did you do while in London? Sorry it was so rainy while you were here.
I went away on Friday to visit my cousin in Plymouth. It was nice to get away and it did me good, but my Auntie was stressing me out! She drove down with my mum from Gloucester for the weekend and they were SO late. My cousin had dinner all cooked ready and I think she was getting rather annoyed that we hadn't even had a phone call to say they were late. She's always been like that. It drives me crazy. It was nice to see my mum, too. Last time was before Christmas and she's going away soon, so I don't think I'll see her again until late March. We stayed up chatting until almost 3am on Sunday morning.
I made the mistake of hanging washing outside earlier and it started raining just before I left. Didn't have time to go out and bring it in, so it's still out.
Right, I've got a ton of things to deal with, so I'd better get on with that.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

I am fed up of being wet and cold.
I got soaked packing the shopping into the car at the supermarket. Got home to find that everyone was out so got soaked again bringing it indoors.
Am now having a glass of wine and drying out. I have no idea why I am bothering as I still need to take Mia out.
Also had to go back to the opticians as my glasses needed altering. Yes, I got soaked doing that too.
It has just said on BBC weather that this is going to carry on all weekend. I have even heard that the whole of Feb is going to be wet. I actually think I would prefer snow, and I hate snow. ( unless to falls late on Christmas Eve and has gone by the 27th)

I have a YouTube playlist of upbeat songs for when I am feeling low, it really does help!
Omo your poor "neighbours", so glad the community is rallying round! Your DS makes me chuckle
Another hospital trip today. DH heart is great, but because of the way it works, it is putting a huge strain on his liver. He has early stages of liver failure, and because it is a side effect of how his heart 'plumbing' there doesn't seem to be anything that can be done until it is just about failedtrying to remain positive that is heart is all well though.

feisty mixed news again and I cant imagine how hard it is to deal with the constant worries fro dh health but keeping thinking positive
freespirit your not alone with the diet blowing I've eaten far too much junk this wk when i'm ill I just seem to crave stodgy/high calorie food even more then usual and just eat whatever I feel like/can managethe main thing is to get back to the healthier eating once you feel better and not allow the bad habits to return for good.
popped back to primarni today and they had some huge reductions on baby clothes loads of stuff £1/£2 including fleece sleepsuits. picked up a lovely knitted cardigan for my neice to put away for xmasits a slightly longer length so thinking maybe get some leggings to go with it? its black/red/cream what colour would you go?
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0
