OMO I've done this but I'm not on FB so can't share it.

It is Burns' Night tonight so - Is anyone eating haggis tonight?

his missus - Hope you a productive day off and did everything you wanted to do.

FeistyFidget - Have an amazing time tonight.

Nanamia - Amazing bargains. Which garden centre was it?. I cant think of any in Knutsford. As well as the King of Garden Centres (Bents), I try to visit Barton Grange in Woodford (think its got a new name now) and Brookside (the one with the train) which isn't far from the Barton Grange one. Glad the rose tree has smoothed things over with your needy neighbour.

Junior J - I am so sorry to hear your news. I hope the shunt helps now its been adjusted and you can avoid more surgery. Despite whatever is going on you are always so positive and an inspiration.

OMO - That's hilarious (but pure genius) about the free recycling boxes now storing your xmas pressies. I have done the survey.

Freesprit - Still loving the challenges.

    Hi All

Sorry I have missed a few days - I just got caught up in work and home stuff. Thanks for all your good wishes re the biopsy news I really appreciate it. It goes without saying that I am thrilled. :D

I am feeling a bit spoilt. DH announced yesterday that I deserved a treat and we can get new wardrobes. I have wanted new wardrobes for a long time as ours are practically falling down. It turns out that DH has saved some money and kept it secret and said we could go and get some this weekend.

So.... We went to IKEA and they had my perfect combination on display and the wardrobes and linings (drawers, baskets etc) to get everything was still reasonable and within our budget.

Unfortunately two of the wardrobes were not in stock, They will be in stock on Friday and so rather than buy half now and half then we haven't bought anything today and will order and collect it all on Friday, and next weekend we will building it.

It's probably just as well that I have a bit more time, as the IKEA wardrobes have a 10 year guarantee, so if this is my long term bedroom then the room will need more "work" to get it ready.

I am happy with the wallpaper but I am going to redo all the woodwork and I am going to contribute and buy a new bedroom carpet. I have a week to get sorted - The countdown has begun!

I have still not found out what DD is after so I think she was just being nice.

Last night it was back to teendom - She insisted on helping me empty my existing wardrobe last night and has acquired/demanded quite a few bits of clothing, and also demanded that a few bits that have missed the last clear out by me are given to the charity as they make me look "embarrassing".

I was fine with this but I have told her through that my shoes are an absolute no no and to keep her mitts off. I have been reciting a chant to her - "Never touch the shoes!". :rotfl:

She also said "Errmmm wheres all your perfume hidden? and I said "somewhere where you wont find it love", so I suspect she was hoping to long term borrow some of that too.

Probably not the best idea to let her help me anymore in the bedroom, as our current happy home could end up a battle zone.

Hubby is suggesting we smash up our current knackered wardrobe tomorrow morning and taking to tip so that we have a slightly clearer room ahead of next week, and I can start the glossing.

In xmas related news - I bought DD a watch today.

In nail related news - I had new "barbie nails" (pale pink with pale pink glitter) done yesterday and they are gorgeous.

    xxx

    Hello lovely people !!

I'm still in this place almost a week now! I am still being sick up to 17 times a day! I was supposed to be having another bolt put in today (remember the op I has hole drilled in skull whilst awake big old bolt measuring device attached?) well that's the first op so that's yet to come!

However , if that shows my pressures are stable enough and with the use of drugs then I can avoid a second op on Monday!! So it's a wait and see game really!

My good deed is the elderly sick lady next to me has a very good but worried daughter in law so I exchange texts daily letting her know how her night was , what she needs ect!

My beautiful cousin and her other half are coming to see me tomorrow and are kindly bringing me up my boyfriend to see me!

Anyway , hope this posts , using phone as a hot spot isn't the strongest way to get signal lol.

    Nighty night,

    Hugs to everyone especially nan

also omo still loving the quotes and I done the survey!
