debndot Hope the decluttering and organising went well.
I need to declutter my wardrobe and chest of drawers. I might try and do a small bit this weekend as I need to make space to store all my stuff! I think I have a lot of clothes until I listen to my work colleagues talk about how many clothes they have  and how they are spread over more than one room! At least my clothes are all in the one room.
BBThree Congratulations on your all clear. You will be so happy. :jA good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Cancer Research have a 75% sale on.

I was very naughty today. The town I work in is much posher than the town I live in, but they are both under the same council. Today I saw a stall in the street giving out new recycling boxes. I asked why they were doing it and it seems some residents had complained they boxes were looking scruffy !!!
So I said ' oh so are mine' and took 2 new boxes. They are now in the corner if my bedroom with gifts in. They even have lids, which ours don't have.
The patio has been scrubbed and bleached. I just got finished before it got dark. No point cleaning the floors if Mia has to walk over a dirty patio to get in. The carpet will be shampooed first thing tomorrow then the poo will be cleared from the lawn. I have never known a dog go so often. The carpet is actually ok, as I scrubbed it last night with neat shampoo, but as FM is coming tomorrow night I think I should do it again.
I bought a couple of small gifts in Aldi this afternoon while I was getting the hard broom. I got my Dad 3 jars of different mustard ( 69p each), and 2 boxes of 4 different beers ( £2.99 each). The mustard are dated 2016 so are fine for Christmas. The beers are dated 8/14 but my Dad and DS have birthdays before then.0 -
Just wanted to pop in to send healing vibes to JJ, hope you're out of hospital soon.
Congratulations BBThree on your news, you must be so relieved.
And my thoughts are with His Missus and Blue Eyed Girl.
Hugs to anyone else who needs them. Quiet in the DOJ house at the moment, I'm busy working towards the self assessment deadline - not much time for anything else!Hobnobs are like marines0 -

Don't know if anyone has spotted these wind up meerkats. They are only £1 and might be useful as a stocking filler or a joke present. Limited stock though.

Good morning, well, it is going to be a good one, I have decreed it. Dearest Mrs M-P, no, not you, some stupid Member of Parliament suggested that us poor folk should stop whining about the cold and the cost of fuel, and just wear extra jumpers and gloves, sorry, should have been clearer.
OMO, lordy, what a fight with Mia ,poo, carpets and cat! I am exhausted already. Well done on the boxes, too.
Well today I took my friend to work, but she now has a car again, so she will be self- propelled as of tomorrow, DGS1s dad is going to bring her home tonight. I have printed of the DVLA forms she needs to reclaim tax on the stolen one and will go to the scrappy later to get them to fill in their bit of the dismantler declaration and get that sent off asap.
DD and I are going out for a coffee later too, not a posh one just in Wethersp00ns and a look round the shops.
I am going to declutter a wardrobe today, so I may well lose the will, but there is stuff in there that has to get rehomed this week. (then I can 'watch this space' when I open the door.) Mrs I shambles off in search of coffee and shortbread............. xxx0
