Thanks for the reply. So I assume that there is no other card that you pick up at the hotel. Last time we went 12 years ago you had to ask at reception for a card for the slots and I don't think Mlife existed then.

Can I ask a couple more questions then please. Only I have an account and play MyVegas, my partner doesn't. Does he need to sign up for an account or will he be given a different card for playing the machines in the hotel casino?

Also, what type of awards can go you get? Assuming that you gain points playing when you get there then how can redeem them unless you are going again?

Partner will need own card. You can use mlife card on anything within the mlife chain, will accrue points when dining and shopping too. Even tourist things such as shark reef will give you points.
Will soon add up over your stay

What time is your flight - also flying out on the 19th - first time for me and I can't wait! Going to stick with the upstairs seats as never been upstairs before :rotfl:

Upstairs is great, sooo quiet and service much quicker.

Hate them couples seats at back of plane downstairs as get off plane last and can easily be a 3 hour queue at immigration, which is even slower in terminal 3 then in was in T2

And - if it's still the same - you get on / off the plane first :)

I would risk the wait at immigration to know we would have the duration of the flight just the two of us together without a random stranger to deal with...we used to love those pairs at the back and it was so very exciting when we got them. I know immigration is a non-issue for me as we can go through the US citizens line...but I think I would wait at immigration over 10-11 hours of having to be boxed in by hubby and a stranger, but that's just me. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

With regards to MLife and our recent trip, myself and my husband linked our cards upon checkout at the Luxor (we went over to the Mlife desk) and we asked if we had any comps that they could take off our bill.
We ended up getting $120 off.

Whilst redeeming a myVegas reward at monte carlo we saw some people getting comp buffet passes - they just asked at the desk!

In all the times I have been we have only had someone in the third seat once. People don't book em unless they have to.

Upstairs you get off before premium and all of economy downstairs. Bear in mind that the BA flight is just before the Virgin one so immigration queue is horrific, same for the taxi queue outside.

Hi, advice please. After the above link was posted I've been looking at the various hotels and offers.... We are looking at the Vdara, if I enter a promotional rate does the hotel need some sort of verification from you? As in, there's an ADESA rate which looks to be something to do with motor auctions which obviously I have nothing to do with.... :(
    Thanks.

I am with Ferf, those pairs at the back especially the second row are worth the wait at immigration, one you dont have a stranger next to you, and that second row has LOADS of legroom.

There is nothing in the terms that suggest you need any verification (there is with AAA offer) so I think you would be OK but unless anyone on here has used that offer you may not get a definitive answer.

May be worth asking on Vegasmessageboard (american forum)

Have you checked out Lowcostusa and seen what prices are on offer for the same dates
