Only got 3 rewards each.Never spent a penny playing the game.
4 of the rewards are 2 buffet redemptions, and the other two a single buffet redemptions.
I assume the six redemptions set out above are ok ?
Or have I redeemed more than I will be allowed to use.
We are taking our daughter with us this trip,so I am expecting the Aria and Mirage buffets are totally free, and we will pay for one more buffet at each of the Bellagio and MGM.....or have I got it wrong.
Just read ferfs post....he has it right.0 -
Brats Stuie...not Brat.
It is a nickname given to me during my long gone schooldays.
Taken from my surname....A brat is something completely different, and I hope I have never been one.;)0 -

I've been on myvegas for a month now, and noticed people talking about total rewards on the myvegas facebook page. Is total rewards worth doing? Is it as easy to get rewards as it is on myvegas? I'm not going until September so will have plenty of time to build up points/whatever it is you do on there. Four of us are going, so if it is worth me signing up, is it then worth the other three signing up too?
Yes Social Rewards is definitely worth doing and is actually easier to collect than MyVegas, especially if you have both a Facebook and Twitter account.0 -
And as a treat we booked Michael Jackson One - we have wanted to see it but the ticket prices put us off a bit...but decided that we're on holiday and we have quite a few freebies so let's do it.
we'd like to go to this too... not taken in a CdS show yet. did you find anywhere with a half-decent offer or deal for tickets?0 -
We are looking at a helicopter tour of the Gran Canyon when we are in vegas - are there any recommended companies? There is what seems to be a good offer on Groupon at the moment - can anyone confirm that it is actually a good offer?0

I'm assuming it's 3 rewards each on both your and OH's accounts? If so, that's totally fine. If it's a single account, you'll only be able to use 3 within 30 days.
On a related note, it really annoys me how the 2 pass redemptions are 4x the points of a single pass redemption. But I'm saving up my LPs for them anyway, since it's better than paying real cash for them! Planning on going to the Bellagio and Aria buffets at the very least, haven't decided what the other rewards (OH plays, so we will have 6 as well) will be.Raspberry_Pie wrote: »Are any of the other partner rewards worth getting? We've been to Wolfgang Puck's and House of Blues in Florida and found both were ok. I have about 75,000 LPs left, seems daft not to use them on something.
Monorail worth it?
We have no plans (yet) to go LV next year.
I've never had any desire to use the monorail. But I'm not usually near the stations, so I'd spend just as long getting to one than if I just walked where I wanted to go in the first place. I think it will be more useful once SLS opens, but I don't think I'd bother with a pass. Especially since the passes are all a BOGOF offer, rather than completely free.0 -

It is annoying but it's understandable...it's much more expensive but only uses 1 reward so it makes sense they make them harder to get.
the monorail wasn't worth it to us for the 7-day passes we got...maybe a shorter duration would be but only if someone is staying at a hotel with a station, I would think.
secretmachines - we didn't look for a code (last time we did there were none so we just assumed there wouldn't be one which was maybe bit stupid)...we have seen all the other Cirque shows we're interested in (all but Zumanity) and know this will be more dance and less Circque...we will see how it compares to Love which is maybe similar in that respect.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Evening All,
We are, in our infinite wisdom, playing flight chicken just now having seen the flash virgin sale last year that offered prices £200 per person cheaper than we paid. Looking for a wee bit of advice from those who have been looking at the flight options to Vegas in the summer to see if it is worth booking just now or waiting the airline special offers out.
We're planning to head out for the majority of July and a couple of weeks in August. Preference is to fly from Edinburgh but we're flexible on the airport so it could be anywhere in the UK. The best we've found for leaving on 04/07/14 and returning on 15/08/14 is £905 per person. We normally pay around £750 when we go for three weeks so the longer duration is pushing the prices a wee bit. If anyone has any advice on when is best to book or any inside info on how busy these flights are at the moment, it would be much appreciated.
I should add that the holiday is not up for debate. When it comes to it (and late April is probably the cut-off point for the latest we'll book), we'll pay whatever the price is but, as a fellow MSE fanatic, the better the deal the happier we'll be.
Many thanks,
