Stuie, Thanks so much for your posts about MyVegas. I have a quick question. DH and me have signed up for MLife already. I have purchased 3 2xperson buffets and so has he. I haven't had an email from them about the rewards but I can see them in 'My Purchases' in MyVegas. Do I just need to present the codes at an MLife desk with my ID or will they want to see an email etc? I could screen print them?Didn't think I would need to phone up to redeem theses cos we haven't decided which buffets to do on which nights.
Sorry if I sound like a numty, just want to make sure we do it right -I've spun those reels enough to deserve it
Cheers,

Just to check, you not purchased 3 of the same buffets on 1 account ?
ie: Aria buffet x3 on your myvegas account ????? and 3 Aria Buffets on the other account ??
As to redeeming, its easy peasy... Get your Mlife card from any hotel, and then if u got say Aria buffet, goto aria mlife desk in that hotel, show card and give the ref number that shows in "my purchases", that will sync all myvegas rewards to your mlife account at the same time
They load the reward onto your card (think they are done with the paper vouchers now), and that's it, off to free dinner!
don't need prints and screen shots, just the ref.....
Although, first reward I used in May last year, I didn't have my reward codes on me, but the mlife desk in Monte Carlo found my rewards (guess all links to email/facebook!)0 -
Hi Stuie, thanks for the swift response
No the rewards are all for different buffets - I got Aria, Mandeley Bay and Luxor whilst DH got them for MGM Grand, Monte Carlo and Mirage; basically we're eating for nought 6 times.:) I thought that we might need to actually take some documentary proof but if all we need are the Reward codes then we're sorted.
Can't wait, we fly on 4th June for 2 weeks -this forum has been a godsend, thanks to you and everyone else for the advice.

so you can go to the desk at one property and effectively get all of the dining rewards for all properties loaded to your card at once and use them as and when you want? If so, that's good to know as I didn't realise that...I thought you had to go to the desk at each property on the day (for buffets/restaurants). I know you can collect show tickets before the day of as we've done that before...it's our general preference to pick up show tickets a few days beforehand.
Getting excited now...we got our Ka tickets booked (got the best seats so far with MyVegas - O and Zarkana were way too close and way off to the side)...managed to get both the MC $50 dining credit and Mirage 2-breakfast/lunch buffets + Tender on mine...hubby has the Ka tickets and 2 Aria lunch buffets...he has plenty of gold coins left but we're not sure we will go for anything else as we kind of feel like we have enough food options now set plus our usual restaurants...and I really want to try to get to Lotus of Siam again this trip. And Peppermill...and we have 2 free buffet vouchers for Silverton from a couple of trips ago. Last trip we over vouchered we felt and then kind of felt hemmed in a bit.
And as a treat we booked Michael Jackson One - we have wanted to see it but the ticket prices put us off a bit...but decided that we're on holiday and we have quite a few freebies so let's do it.
If Taylor Hicks would just extend for a bit longer that would be the last of the things we really wanted to book for next month's trip.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Finally redeemed our myvegas rewards tonight also.
2 x Bellagio Buffet
2 x Aria Buffet
2 x Mirage Buffet
2 x MGM Buffet
1 x Aria Buffet
1 x Mirage Buffet
This is from the person who hated buffets when we first came to Vegas.
I found the change occurred when going to the MGM champagne brunch on one of last years trips.I realised a few drinks made the experience a lot more enjoyable. :rotfl:
The MGM and The Mirage buffets include drink, and Bellagio and Aria unlimited drink can be purchased for about $12 with the buffets.
So we are all ready for our trip in May.0 -
You got 5 rewards each ?? Am guessing you spent lots on chips ? (like couple of hundred Dollars worth ?!)
Or you got the buffets, and then just choose 3 or 4 each when you get there out of your bunch ???
Ferf, our show tickets (KA and Zumanity), they told me on the phone I can collect both show tickets from either hotel at same time, as both are under same reservation number.....
When I said about sync'ing rewards, I read on the groups that the reward codes generated are auto synced to your mlife account, so you still turn up as normal on the day you want to use the reward, hand over your card and they see that you have a buffet reward loaded onto your card......
I'll clarify that with the myVegas peeps to be on the safe side, but that's what I had read recently0 -
Thanks Stuie. It will be great if you can have all your rewards loaded at once and use them as and when you want.
And I read Brats' list as 6 rewards...the 2x being the single reward for 2 free buffets in those cases.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Are any of the other partner rewards worth getting? We've been to Wolfgang Puck's and House of Blues in Florida and found both were ok. I have about 75,000 LPs left, seems daft not to use them on something.
Monorail worth it?
We have no plans (yet) to go LV next year.RP

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a quick search but couldn't find it. I've been on myvegas for a month now, and noticed people talking about total rewards on the myvegas facebook page. Is total rewards worth doing? Is it as easy to get rewards as it is on myvegas? I'm not going until September so will have plenty of time to build up points/whatever it is you do on there. Four of us are going, so if it is worth me signing up, is it then worth the other three signing up too?0
