To save me trawling the whole thread my partner and I would like to go for a helicopter ride over the grand canyon - are we better off booking this before we go or should we wait until we are there?

    Sweeeeet!
I just booked us to see Backstreet Boys & Avril Lavigne at Planet Hollywood..
    Section 204 - Row T
$156 for the 2 of us... Looks a good price on ticketmaster compared to some of the other sites that sell tickets...

**to note** I'm not a Backstreet fan, its more for the wife! ;);):D:D

My husband and I are just back from Vegas- we booked Papillion helicopters and they were great! Sent a really comfortable minibus to pick us up and drop home. Champagne and mini picnic at the Grand Canyon and the pilot pointed out lots of interesting things on the way. Only down point was we were staying at the Wynn so we were 1st picked up and last dropped off! Took about 4.5 hrs altogether from pickup to drop off. Hope that helps. And it was cheaper to have ore booked than to book in Vegas - cost us £400 for the 2 of us.
  • Thank you Ferf for the info about cosmopolitan, ace video too!

Sweenytodd - cheers for the heads up re Thomas cook! I normally bring snacks and drinks with me anyway but that's good to know.

Owen - thank you for the concern re my eyesight lol! I'll make sure I pack a magnifying glass! Tbh I'll probably be mainly reading on my kindle but it's always handy to have a few films / tv shows as backup :)

We booked a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon with Papillon and would highly recommend them. We booked online in the Uk which I believe is cheaper than in Vegas.

It's also worth trawling through this thread....., as you'll find so much useful info to add to your enjoyment of your trip to Vegas :)

some Cirque deals on Living Social but do check the usual suspects on the first page first as well in case there are better deals about.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
