i noticed a missed call from what turns out to be a Virgin Atlantic Flying Club number, but they don't leave a message.... we fly in about 3 weeks, is this likely to be a random sales call or are they wanting to upgrade us?! :D

I had read that when you purchase a reward on myVegas, it links to your Mlife account, ie: when you get to an Mlife desk, just by quoting your name and mlife number, they will pickup your myVegas rewards.......
I wished I knew this when I was there!
Picked up the card from the Luxor but kept forgetting my paperwork when going out for the day.
So home I came with all 3 buffets unused- got the points back to the game and as we both want to go back will put towards the next trip.

classic questions alert for our forthcoming trip...

most recommended buffet for evening food?
(will do Aria brunch as usual, have been to Bacchanal @ Caesars, Wicked Spoon @ Cosmo and up for a new experience :) )

    most recommended on-Strip steak place?
(not top-end $$, but something decent and wholesome!)

we have had them call before...once it was to offer an upgrade at a reduced price. Once it was just to check on if we had any questions, etc (or supposedly that's what it was)...the latter was a weird call as she asked for booking reference and I said no, I was not giving that to someone who just rang me up...ignoring the fact we had more than one future flight booked with them. She got a bit stroppy about it...and then asked if she gave me enough info to prove she was who she said, etc. I do not remember all the specifics but I remember it was odd....it was Virgin, I was satisfied of that in the end...but it was a really odd call and I think in the end she admitted that phoning people up, saying you're from VA and then asking for the customer's booking reference would send some red flags up to some people.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Try Charlie Palmer Steak at the Four Seasons. Very well rated and their Cut of the Week deal is a bargain - 3 courses including bottomless wine for $48. It's not always steak but here's this week's menu as an example, looks delicious... http://www.charliepalmer.com/charlie-palmer-steak-las-vegas/menus/cut-of-the-week/

Not a buffet fan so can't answer the first. Going to try the Bellagio buffet on my next trip due to MyVegas though. Free meal! :D
