Thanks for the chip package info Stuie - if/when we book flights for this year I might consider a couple of purchases to see what happens. The $5 for an extra reward was an absolute steal last summer - I used my extra one for a $75 credit at Tender (back when you didn't have to spend anything to use it) and hubs used his to get another $75 bar tab at Times Square (I already had one). Aah the good ole days!
Just been catching up with the thread a bit. I couldn't look at it for a while after coming back last year, had a serious case of post-Vegas blues, I actually burst into tears on my first day back in work haha! Still got a half written trip report that I never managed to post.
Stuie - you mentioned a few pages back about your 'adventures' at Times Square...we giggled at 'Stuie's bin' every time we walked over the Exalibur bridge haha!"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

We have usually been happy with what we have gotten - once we got a 'mini SUV' that was a free upgrade but terrifying to me as I drive a small car, but I ended up liking it overall...but I always look at it as worst case scenario if I hate the car I get at TI I could drive to the rental facility and swap it for something else. So far I haven't had to swap it out.
I can relate to that, we once got a Dodge Caravan, there were 6 of us so we needed that size so it's what we booked. Rather odd to drive though as I drove a Yaris at home at that time. I'd also been in a head on collision shortly before we went so I was a slightly nervy driver at the time even though I'm not normally.
Not sure if it beats the shock to the system of hitting the huge buys roads in LA though.
I sometimes worry a bit about driving in Vegas, then we pick the car up and after 10 minutes I realise it's fine! I can't imagine not getting a car there now, we used to actually order bus passes before travelling they were 30 day passes for about $30. Good value but a bit of a hassle!0 -
Has anyone been into their Social Rewards account today?
I transferred 1000 points on 17 January which was showing under Rewards. Today it is showing zero and when I click on Transferred it says there is no history. Wondering if it's system wide or just me and I should contact them?0 -
My social rewards does not show previous transactions either. Just check your total rewards to see if they are in there0

Never occurred to me to do that, but I have just checked and they are showing in my TR acount.
Glad it's not just me.0 -
