All the hotels have business centres - I print out all the vouchers I may need before I leave and just get odd copies printed if needed. I wouldn't see any value in buying a printer as that's $30 off any savings plus the time going to buy it.

Which hotel are you talking about ? None of the on-line option player clubs I've used have needed stuff printed only in Vegas-I've done it all before leaving home.

There are portable Polaroid and similar printers that print using "till receipt" technologies, for £30 or so. Small paper format but they don't usually say "must be A4 size"!!!

After all the discussion / confusion about Virgin changing when passengers can select their seats, the Advanced Seat Assignment Calculator on this page might be useful. :) It only works for economy tickets though. :

Yesterday's £12 upgrade is today showing at over £1200 on the same flight on the same date. And Virgin Holidays reckon I've paid off my balance in full when I know for a fact I still owe them £700. :D I think they have an infestation of gremlins....

At about 9 pm my wife started playing myVEGAS as it is double LP on levelling up. She started with 200,002 LPs and 402,054 chips (been playing about 2 months). She peaked at just over 5M chips, but now has only 324,560 chips. However, her LPs is now 267,662.

That's brilliant - I did similar a while ago and managed to level up 60 times so giving me 60,000 lp's. Only stopped because I had to go to bed lol
    Thank you all who post.

Hotel is Eastside Cannery. The whole road trip is quite long so a printer could be useful for printing maps (grand canyon hikes?), maybe other vouchers. Trip advisor says it has business centre, oyster.com says it doesn't. I'd agree that $30 is a lot just to dump, I'm in two minds myself. BTW what does it cost to print at a hotel business centre?
  • Has anyone stayed at Caesars recently and which tower would they recommend? I've still not decided on hotels for the summer. I normally stay at Encore and Aria but I fancy a change.

It's been a few years since we have stayed at Caesars but we're staying there in April...so far we have always managed a complimentary upgrade (Forum ended up in Palace and Palace ended up in Augustus)...Augustus and Octavius towers are the nicest and the best placed overall for easy access from the room to the Strip...we're booked in a Forum tower room in April and if we get upgraded to Palace we'll be pleased as the rooms are quite nice but the location isn't great (except for the pool) as seems to take forever to get from there to anywhere else...we'd prefer Forum location but I doubt we would turn down an upgrade. :)

Augustus Tower is very nice - though roomwise we probably liked Encore better. Octavius is the next step up so would imagine that they are really nice.

Some hotels have a price list on their website...Paris is $1 page and that seems about what I recall other places. Some hotels also have computer stations where you can pay an amount for a set number of minutes and can also print for a fee...

At some hotels if you ask nicely at the concierge desk they will give you an email address to send something to them to print for you...though admittedly when we have done this (Encore) we have been paying a resort fee so it may have been part of that anyway. But if there's something with their players club that you have to print something then maybe they would do it for you, or the players club desk might...I haven't heard of anything like that before either.

It might be worth considering Kinko's...if you're going on a road trip they have them all over the place and might be cheaper...if they still do what they used to you could buy a pre-paid card for $xx and use it at any of their locations. I think printing was maybe $0.10 a page or something but that was ages ago...and there was a cost to use a PC as well but I don't recall it being that much.

Thanks. I'm considering the Octavius but was worried it wouldn't be as nice as the Encore. I love the Encore rooms but it's just so far to walk anywhere else from there.

Have you considered Cosmo? The Terrace Suite was the only room we've stayed in that we would put above Encore when considering room only...though we haven't stayed in an Octavius Tower room (or Venetian or Palazzo). Even the Terrace One Bedroom probably came close for us...and actually having the terrace probably put it slightly ahead though the room itself was a bit smaller.
