    v flyer states virgin have recently been using bigger planes to LAS, hence larger upper class cabins. May be worth people with bookings logging in to see if there are any upgrade offers

    Aren't they the same size, just different layouts, with more cattle and less upper on the LAS flights? They got rid of the smaller 747s a few years ago.

    do you have to book a package including hotel? I've always found VH to be expensive for flight+hotel bookings though it's been awhile since I looked they always seemed to effectively double the hotel cost from what I could get booking direct...but that's a crazy deal for a PE upgrade if flight only was an option.

    For the £12 something upgrade it was hotel and flight, but when I was looking yesterday you could book flight only on the Virgin Atlantic website and upgrade to PE for only £85.50 each (outbound and inbound).

    Of course, I booked mine months ago and paid about £800 for the upgrade!! :mad: Still, c'est la vie! :)

    Us to...and from LGW so maybe not even an option anyway as this was from MAN...but still, I will remember to check VH flight only in the future just in case!
    Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    DELTA = SUCKS
    Virgin = sucks too :)
    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
    Me not happy!!!!!

    When I log into my Delta Booking (codeshare with Virgin), it specifically states that I can book my seats on the 18th Feb, it says it today and has said it since July last year.....
    Unable to book a seat online anywhere, I have called Delta (in France, but UK number of course :D ), who tried to book, but cant do it, and said I would have to speak to Delta in Atlanta to find out whats going on, but also to call Virgin to see what they say....

    Call Virgin, they say I need to speak to Delta, but go on to offer me exit seats for £85 each, and then to tell me I can book 60 days before I fly.....
    Fair enough from the Virgin side of things, still not impressed though!.

    I will see what I can do seat wise, as I specifically want the same as before (61A & C), so will test Delta's customer service (email)....

    I know its only a seat, but my issue is being told 1 thing, and then not being able to act on it...
    Rant over! :D:D:D:D:D :doh:

    you cant book a "flight only" through VH, needs to be booked with a hotel, or as a Flydrive
  • At about 9 pm my wife started playing myVEGAS as it is double LP on levelling up. She started with 200,002 LPs and 402,054 chips (been playing about 2 months). She peaked at just over 5M chips, but now has only 324,560 chips. However, her LPs is now 267,662.

    I've a Vegas question that doesn't seem to be addresses here so I'll add it to this thread.

    Is it is easy and cheap to print in Las Vegas? The hotel we're staying at has a online club where you can earn point so I plan to rack up some before we go. But this points have to be traded for vouchers that you print out and the hotel doesn't say it has any printing services. Also, I see there are a lot of online vouchers you have to print. One solution is a cheap printer from Walmart ($30 at the moment). That might be cost effective if the costs of printing mount up.
