Been transferring points from Social Rewards to Total Rewards. Done 3000 over the last 3 weeks, but my online Total Rewards balance still shows as zero.

I do t have a card, but signed up online for total rewards, will the points be on the card when I collet in Vegas?

I don't think that's right, mine usually show in about a week or so. Are you sure you used the correct TR number when you did the redemption, and are you logging into that and no points there? Did you receive a confirmation email and then a further email to confirm the transfer? You might need to contact them. I've never had this problem.

I'm happy to say I've transferred out 7000 points since I started late September/early October, and have about 1600 or so sitting just now. I just keep 1000 at all times and transfer out any full thousands. I'm wondering how much we'll have by September. I'm thinking maybe $150 worth each - which is $300 between us. Just need to work out how to spend it. Thinking maybe try Caesar's buffet...maybe some nice drinks somewhere. Any nice pizza places anyone knows of?

Do you mean that you joined online (have never had an account where you registered in person at one of their casinos)?

If so, it may be that the points don't make their way to your account until you're in Vegas and have presented your photo ID, etc to validate the membership, maybe?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

that's more or less what we decided too as we've found we can cover or last 2 nights with comps at Mirage or TI so we're just going to do that...reading about using multiple rewards for consecutive nights seems like it may be a bit of a faff and we have stayed at Luxor before - and going for Luxor would mean burning all 3 of my rewards for our April trip...but it seems a crazy deal if you really can get 3 nights for 18k LP each...relative to the monetary value of most rewards and the points needed for them on MyVegas that just seems exceptional.

also be aware that even if the dates that you are wanting are showing available on the reward calendar, in some instances when you call the redemption line, the hotels myvegas room allocation for those dates may have already been used up/sold out

Guys, some pointers for u on myVegas......

Buffets and so are are limited to 1 reward per person per 30 day period.
IE: You cannot redeem 3 aria buffets to use in that 30 days...

    Hotels:
It says on page before you purchase, its limited to 3 rewards per person.
IE: You want to stay at Aria for 3 nights, you have 297000 LP's, you purchase 3 Bonus Nite stays at Aria, and you book 3 nights back to back....
So its 3 rewards per person for hotels. (I know this, as the wife used her 3 rewards for the Aria, already booked and mlife guy says the reseverations will be merged...)

Mirage deal: you buy 1 reward for the $48 night, this will let you book a few nights at the same rate from using just the 1 reward...
However, do a price check on Lowcostusa.co.uk , as the $48+tax+R Fee = same as lowcostusa rate.....

I've got my head screwed on with the rewards :)
oh and lucky me, I bought $9 chips 10 day ago, and then another $9 2 days ago...... I now have 4 rewards!!!!! :D:D:D

Did the same on wifes account 5 days ago, and then 2 days ago, still shows 3 rewards :( I play both accounts at same time everyday, only difference between hers and my account is, she has redeemed 3 rewards already, I haven't picked any yet....
luck of the draw I guess :)

    MLIFE Cards:
If you haven't already been to vegas, you sign up online for your Mlife card, get your account number, jobs a good un....
If your booking shows or hotels, and ring up to book with your myvegas rewards, once you mention your Mlife number, your reward is linked to your account and any future rewards u buy are automatically linked....

When you arrive in Vegas, hit the Mlife desk first in the casino to get your plastic card, then check-in and do your stuff, etc etc :)

    Hello All!

My question is - as my wife and I didn't make it to down town in Vegas, would this far less expensive option be good for two guys to travel to? Separate beds, in one room. The inexpensive alcohol, food and less expensive gambling appeals to us quite well.

I have not stayed in a hotel downtown before but there is a very good (and cheap) hotel 1 mile east of the strip called Silver Sevens. It ticks all of your boxes. The premium rooms are very nice. I usually book through Expedia. You can get good cashback rates through Topcashback.

Silver sevens used to be Terribles, yes its cheap but given the choice between downtown and SS I would choose downtown

I am starting to think I am wasting my time playing Myvegas after stuies post.

If I dont use it for rooms (I have just booked the Rio on TR rather than luxor on myvegas) then it looks like it mainly leaves buffets and they dont look like that great a value to me and if I can then only use 1 !! or could I buy 3 at 3 different hotels?

1 reward per person per reward....
so you could have Aria, Bellagio, MGM, Mbay, Excal, etc etc...
As theres 2 of you, you could have 6 buffets! :):)

So you can do Aria buffet twice, one in your name, one in the other :)
Values of buffets (yeah, I done the values for the things I want to see which works best)..
I'll copy and paste my info in (spreadsheet), and buffet figures might be out by $1.....

  • Regarding the rewards on buffets. If a couple go, can each persson buy say a mgm buffet for 2? So 1 buffet you attend as the purchaser, and the other you attend as the +1.

edit : answered above, whilst I was typing my question.
