sorry I should have said we were in PE...:o At least they have brought back the 60-day window for those who booked before the changes came in, that's something.

Hi - I've a problem with viewing seats with BA on a booking, I could view seats several weeks ago.

We are going next Tuesday via Gatwick and when checking what seats were available for booking 24 hours before, there is no valid link for booking and paying for seats early.

Has anything changed at BA recently for viewing closer to the flight time?

    Thanks for any advice.

I just checked my booking as I like to keep an eye on seats but it won't let me attempt to book seats at all, was worried it was just me so am grateful for seeing your post.
  • I am looking at going to vegas for a 2nd time next year. I did the grand canyon last time I went and went to 2 concerts in vegas. I was hoping to cram in san fran for the day but it was too much, considering I was there only 6 days

This time I am either considering going to vegas first and then san fran. I only have 5 days leave left(thur through to wed) in Feb 2015. I could also do San Fran in 1 day and get a flight early in the morning and come back late the same day. I was planning to do the bridge and alcatraz. I see they do hop on/hop off tours in san fran too. I just wondered how far the airport was from san fran city. Has anyone done san fran in a day? Or is it better to do a 2 multi centre trip.

Im sure I posted this last year but cannot find the thread.

Check in for me is tomorrow morning, still nooption for viewing seats, more worringly online check in is down due to technical errors so no countdown to check in for me :(

Hopefully it'll be back up by tomorrow morning.

Out of interest my booking is a flight + hotel package with BA, is yours ?

I did get seats but had to telephone to get them as there were no options to book in 24 hours before.

If anyone's online Amazon currently have the Three SIM with all you can eat data bundle for 9.99 (preloaded with £15 top up) Data works in US.
So this is saving you £5, you do not have to activate SIM till you are going away.

  • I've left my holiday planning sooooo late, I had the best of intentions to be so organised. I booked the holiday on the sunday then got made redundant on the friday so it all got pushed to one side!!

I'm scared i've missed the boat with reward cards, loyalty schemes etc!!!

Has anyone got and tips on what I can do in the short time before I go to help me save, get good value and enjoy my trip?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks x
