Try looking up rentalcars.com as that's who a few people on here book with and are happy with them. They include CDW or LDW which is your insurance. Always check for that.
I think the general consensus is that it's best/cheapest to book with a UK company as that way you make sure you are properly insured. Americans would be covered by their own insurance.0 -
Just be wary of that Alamo link Photome it charges one way fee's for drop off at a different location,Did a search for pickup LAS and drop off SFO and fees were added0

Thanks for that.
I only ever rent in LAS these days, but I thought that there was an agreement between California and Nevada and there wasnt any one way drop charges between the 2 states0 -

I think it's like the whole "you need 6 months on your passport for the US" thing - there are enough people (including on the car hire forum here) that say that there are no one-way fees between CA/NV that a lot of people think that's 100% true...but we had a rental a few years ago (via CH3000) that there was to be a one way fee...CH3000 swapped us to another supplier without when we asked...so they do exist, though I think they are rare.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Im sure we had Dollar and Thrifty CA/NV/AZ no one way fees a few years ago, so not that rare (unless its changed).illegitimi non carborundum0

sorry, I meant that those that do charge a one-way fee are rare...I don't think most charge between those states but a lot of people say none do and I don't think that's always true.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

I just got an offer from Flamingo for $23 per night. Granted its in December which is a slow month, but I thought I'd put it out there for comparison.rorylando45 wrote: »I'm looking at booking a room for just one night next Summer on Thursday 4th June. I got an email from booking.com today about some discounted rates, I got looking at the Flamingo - do the below prices look decent?
I've never stayed at the Flamingo so not sure what the "going rate" is! Will be after a room with 2 separate beds. And ideally not a High Roller view, would rather be looking at the Strip!

On the flight back from Vegas to Chicago now. My girlfriend just pulled a couple Titos to a value of about $30 from her bag for Cosmo. Valid 180 days.
Happy to send them to someone going within that period free of charge.
I got my !!! kicked for the majority of the trip but had a couple of good days.0
