Have a look at Palms Place on Hotels.com, their Studio Suite King is coming in at £241 for 4 nights (8/06-12/06) seems a great price for what you get. You can check out the review on vegaschatter, looks amazing!0 -
Just booked our 2nd Vegas trip. It is our 2nd time. Going back to catch all the things we never did the first time there! This will include not getting ripped off by the taxi driver by going the long way round to the hotel lol
We are going to the Luxor Sunday 30th November 8 nights. Booked via LowcostUSA (first time with these guys hope there are ok) Flying with Virgin.
Cost was £720 each. Had a quote yesterday from Kenwood Travel for £699 but it has gone up £90 since! Gone through Quidco for 2% back so the LowcostUSA price is comparable.
I am going to work every Sunday coming up as over time to hopefully take about $6000 spending money. We took $3000 last time and brought some back after our 5 days there.
Just looking ahead to December is there any headline confirmed to play Vegas yet? We would like to see Matt Goss again, and maybe Brittany if she is still about come December.0 -
Thanks for the suggestions. Finally took the plunge and booked Luxor for 4 nights through booking.com for $316 then tax and resort fee on top but went through Topcashback, then having a night at the Best Western Plus Frontier Motel at Lone Pine for £72 through expedia. I think the amount of choice is so overwhelming in LV that I felt a bit like a rabbit caught in headlights. Now planning the rest of the hotels for Yosemite, Monterrey and SF. Roll on August!:D
I can recommend the Portola hotel in Monteray. Excellent location, decent swimming pool.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I just received an email reminder that my ESTA is about to expire in the next 30 days. I can't remember getting one last time. I thought it may be a new service added because you have to pay for the ESTA now. Anyone know?
Of course, I may have forgotten all about the last email reminder. Old age creeping up and all that.0 -
Yes pebbles you do pay for it about 15 pounds or dollars. You should get your money's worth out of it though.0

Sorry I didn't make that clear.0 -
I got ours just before the fee was introduced and got an email reminder for that one as I hadn't renewed it.0

I received a reminder email about esta expiring a few months ago.
So I think it must be courtesy they provide, now that we have been paying for it.0
