    in a word no.

Some of the outlet malls may have shortened hours but other than that I doubt you'll even notice

    Anyone (Stuie?)

    the first page guide says:
    • It will take some time to accumulate a lot of LPs, but worth it given it's free. You will be able to use 3 real-life rewards in any 30 day window. That means if you book a room or show in January 2014, to use on 1st May 2014, the 30 day window starts from 1st May 2014 (or which ever offer is redeemed first).
But, I remember an explanation during last year that said if I were to use lp's now, for a stay in the future, then that wouldn't count towards the 3 in 30 days as it's the date of redemption that counts, not the date of the stay.

The guidance above seems to suggest that this is not the case? Can anyone clarify?

My situation is that I've redeemed 1 reward earlier this month for a 2 night stay at Mirage in early Apr.

I now have 116,000 lps left to 'buy' another 2 rewards, or 3 depending on the answer to the above.

    Hope that's clear?

I was able to use 4 rewards last year - booked mirage tower suite in January, then used three in June during our trip.

was that without making any 'in-game' chip purchases? You get extra allocations if you buy some chips.

the 3 in 30 days clock starts ticking when you USE your first reward, whether its by checking into your hotel, or having a meal etc.
Some rewards dont count towards the 3 in 30 days, ie Monorail passes, Wolfgang Puck, Sugar Factory

Just after a little advice. I'm heading to Vegas over Easter (my birthday is Easter Sunday) and would like to go somewhere and have a nice birthday Brunch.

Any recommendations? I've had a look on various websites and the one at Bally's is rated highly but seems very focused on sea-food which none of us like. What others would you suggest?

Also - some website suggest everything is shut on Easter Sunday like it is here. Is that true?

    72 days and counting :j

By a brunch...do you mean a buffet? EDIT Ballys sunday brunch has closed
For a special meal for a birthday there are many better options, infact almost endless

    No Vegas never closes

Looking back I actually used 4 in June - so 5 in total, that was back when you only had to spend $5 to get an extra reward

ack, missed the page turn and the fact this has already been answered. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Hello All!

I have to admit I haven't been around for a long time (other than to check the grabbit board on my phone) Since my last visit in 2011 I had a small promotion that has seen me travel the country!

My wife and I went to Vegas in September 2011, and were fortunate enough to stay at Caesars. It blew us away and I even managed to complete the $20 trick successfully for a moderate but fantastic upgrade.

My wife has suggested though, as odd as it may sound, for me to go back to Vegas with a friend (possibly 2) of mine toward the end of this year.
It's not that she didn't enjoy it last time, it's that the length of flight was not comfortable for her due to her health. :(

This isn't something I had even thought about doing, but she had mentioned it one night when my friend was over for some beers! I think she wants some more of the jewelry she bought there.

My friend and I aren't about splashing out a fortune on a hotel, and see it as a place to simply chill and sleep in prep for the next day of sightseeing and exploring.

As part of my work I am used to a variety of "grade" of hotels. I try to stick to a premier inn so I know within reason, what I'm going to get.

My question is - as my wife and I didn't make it to down town in Vegas, would this far less expensive option be good for two guys to travel to? Separate beds, in one room. The inexpensive alcohol, food and less expensive gambling appeals to us quite well.

Has anyone had any experience of staying downtown as well as on the strip? Is there anywhere in particular we should avoid? I am looking on tripadvisor and most places seem quite good.

Don't get me wrong, Caesars was breathtaking, but for this plan, we would prefer to have that extra cash to fund our meals and drinks to some extent.

Ideally I would like to fly direct, and stay in 2 different places for 5 nights each. Doing quotes online it almost seems cheaper to fly and book a 10 day holiday in one go, than to separate into booking flights ourselves and booking 2 separate hotels for 5 nights each.

Thanks for any advice. If anyone has had any experience of a similar type of holiday it would be much appreciated.
