Facebook has always had a policy (at least since 'pages' have been in place), to stop fake accounts being setup, or primarily companies trying to set an individual account instead of a 'page'.

For example in the early days, the only way for a business to tap into Facebook would be to set up a personal account with: first name - Coca, surname - Cola.

But now there are 'pages' for businesses to use.

Since then, Facebook actively sweeps to look for individual accounts which are being used by businesses.

So as long as your Myvegas dummy facebook account 'behaves' like a regular profile, there shouldn't be any cause for concern.

But if I only have 3 shares (or whatever they are called) a day then maybe it doesn't make much difference to me...though I know there are some points I could collect via Facebook by favourting or something...I will go investigate.

Remember that the 'Connect', 'Retweet' and 'Tube' Shares don't count towards your daily limit.

So it's always worth going through each casino section on Social Rewards and make sure they are all completed before doing any other shares (this way you really maximise the points you can collect) :beer:

thank you - I discovered the retweet thing yesterday and had gotten most of them but will go back and double-check...this weekend I will clear down the youtube stuff.

I find this much less annoying than MyVegas.

I do both, but much less MyVegas these days. The rewards are getting worse AND use more 'LPs' to redeem than even a few months ago, I'm wondering if there will be anything left for me when I go in Aug.

However I love that Social Rewards is just effectively $$$ to spend at Caesar's Entertainment casino's (of which we will be staying in for the first 5 nights, so I'm thinking that's food pretty much covered!)

If you don't mind me asking, how long you been doing the Social Rewards scheme and how much $ have you earnt over that time? Cheers!

Do all of the youtubes first. They don't use up your three daily 'shares' and means you can do them all, for all properties at once if you like (and have the time). Then do the Facebook/twitter shares at three per day.

5 days and about 1200 points but obviously a lot of that is down to the initial stuff you can only do once...thanks for your help as it's made a difference in my total points already.

I tried to join a few months ago but my Twitter account was too new and I was cursing myself for killing off my original account a few years ago.

With regards to redeeming rewards, presumably you can only redeem once you are in the hotels? Did they get charged to your TR and offset against the credits you have built up?

I think it would be useful to have some information on the front page regarding total rewards - does anyone have enough experience on the matter to write something up?

Yes, it does work. Obviously there is a short window when you post it before you go in and amend it, where people might see it but then it will disappear from their feed and not be visible to them any more.

Hi,

Looking to book a trip to vegas for me and my OH.

Ideally I would like to taylor my trip (9 nights) with different hotels and maybe nights at grand canyan and LA, but I cant find any flights from glasgow that are decent prices.

The best I can come up with is a package via expedia for around £1800 for 9 nights NYNY leaving 8th june this year.

Can anybody help?
