thanks - looks interesting and have set all 3 episodes to record. :)

And LCI - that's right...I completely misread photome's post and had forgotten the name...thanks nvh.

and thanks pebbles, I had forgotten that social rewards will keep points alive...I've only finally just qualified and am still in the learning stages, appreciate the heads-up, that's really good to know.

I think I may have made a mistake with my Social Rewards credits. I have converted them into Total Rewards credits but I am not planning to go to Vegas until September, 9 months away.

Will the points I have transferred die as I won't be able to redeem them within 6 months or have I misunderstood that the points expire. Is anyone able to explain or advise? I've tried looking on the TR website but it doesn't seem to clarify.

    Many thanks.

They are valid for 6months. However that only applies if you don't redeem any more before that 6month cut-off. If you say redeem more points after 5months, the validity would reset to 6months from that time. Basically, keep on redeeming and you'll be fine
Currently saving and planning for the holiday of a lifetime to Vegas in summer 2014!

5 Nights @ Flamingo -> 1 Night @ Lake Mead -> 2 Nights @ The Grand Canyon -> 3 Nights @ The Mirage -> And Finally... 1 Night @ The Salone Fountain View Suite, Bellagio

Phew thats a relief - I will keep redeeming as you suggest.

I've been redeeming mine while always keeping 1000 points in it, that way I will definitely have 1000 points to redeem mid march to keep things live for September. I'm scared to redeem any more because sometimes it's a bit slow for getting points, and I want to make sure I have 1000. We started late September or early October, and we have 6000 each already in our Total Rewards accounts, equivalent to $60 for not much work! I'm very pleased.

I'll be trying to think what to spend them on nearer the time. Never used points at Caesar's Entertainment before, only managed to get enough to use at The Orleans in the past.

Yes that's a good idea to always keep 1000 in Social Rewards, I think I'll adopt that strategy too. Is there a definitive list of the rewards available through Total Rewards as I am amassing credits without really knowing what I can eventually redeem them for?

I'm currently only tweeting as I only have a Facebook account for myvegas and the odd competition entry so don't have any friends, still managed to build up 4000 points since October/November time though. :)

    https://www.totalrewards.com/TotalRewards/RewardsAndBenefits.do?page=trRewards

With a few exceptions you can use them for most things at any of their properties...toward room charges, restaurants, shows, spa visits/treatments, shops or freeplay. The exceptions are mainly places that are not owned by the CET group (so some restaurants and shops are not owned by them)...but in a lot of cases, if you are staying at a hotel within the group you can charge purchases from at least some of the non-group owned outlets to you room...and then use TR credits toward your final bill.

Can you definitely not use that facebook account? Do you need to have friends on it, and if so do you not want friends on it? I know you likely don't want 'real' friends on there, but could you maybe add some like minded folk that don't mind getting just posts off your other stuff? 4000 points is still good though for just using twitter! When I post to facebook, I got into the post and set it so it's only my husband that can see it. At least that way I'm not posting what might look quite random (ie a Vegetarian like me going on about a steakhouse!). As for twitter, I don't really care what they see because I don't have real friends on there (unless a few have found me but I don't use it for anything else!).
