just looking around at possible shows for our next trip

I think you also said you were adding 2 nights at cosmo or TI as a booking to comped cosmo booking. If you are prepared to change that to Mirage or Vdara there's an offer at the moment (I booked via link from smartervegas http://www.smartervegas.com/hotels/vdara/promotionalcodes.aspx) for free show tickets. We are going to see LOVE (again!) - KA was unavailable for our dates so you might end up cancelling if you can't find a suitable show. Code is ZENT13C Buy before end of Jan

Thanks for the info, doesn't really suit us as we're hoping for additional comped nights to crop up to fill out the last 2 nights, but could be a deal that might be just the thing for some others.

Hubby's currently targeting Ka tickets on MyVegas...assuming that Michael Jackson One doesn't turn up before we'll be redeeming...we've seen Ka but only once and we were too close to really get the scale of the show so want to see it again from further back.

I've talked him into Vegas! the Show based on pebbles' recommendation...I'd like to see some of the 'smaller' shows we haven't seen before...hubby is harder to convince...we don't like to have too many plans - prefer a more where the day takes us approach most days, but without any plans there's a high risk of wandering around the casinos for dangerously long periods of time. :)

I hope he enjoys Vegas! The Show. Tony and I both really like the show. We have seen it several times now. They change it a little from time to time, so it's fresh each time.

I'm looking at getting one of the companion tickets as I'll not reach the 208,000 needed for 2 free ones.

for anyone flexible enough to go at such short notice I agree, the 5 night one is excellent value.

this may be of interest to those who have TR points that might expire before they go back...my hubby found it.

    http://www.playerrewardscard.com/caesars.php

effectively you can convert UK Player Reward credits to Total Reward credits and vice versa...I would assume that this might mean that if you came back to the UK with XXX points you hadn't used...you could convert them to your UK players account...make sure that you play on that card at least once every 6 months to keep the UK points alive...then before you go back to Vegas, convert them back...

    Maybe?

UK LONDON • THE CASINO AT THE EMPIRE • THE SPORTSMAN • GOLDEN NUGGET
UK REGIONS • RENDEZVOUS BRIGHTON • RENDEZVOUS SOUTHEND • MANCHESTER235 • ALEA NOTTINGHAM • ALEA GLASGOW

Annoyingly the link to the PR hotel rates on the US site is still dead (it worked a few years ago but not since...I emailed them once awhile ago and never had a reply)..the rates used to be pretty good - better than the Hot Deals rates and I think sometimes better than the Friends and Family rates, maybe...and all for just having a players card from one of their UK casinos...but there is a phone number, so may be worth checking. 001-800-901-2962

I had forgotten about those rates with a card from those UK casinos, I happened to be working in Southend a few years back and called in to get a card, and benefited with a great rate.

Have they changed names though I don't remember it being called rendezvous, from memory wasn't it London casinos

Shame there isn't one closer to me. .always the way, that's the trouble with living in the sticks

I think there were always some London casinso and some regional ones....at least 2 of the London ones are the same as they have been for ages, not sure on the others.

It would be interesting to see how the rates compare to the F&F rates at least...maybe I will try calling and ask just for comparison.
