When I post to facebook, I got into the post and set it so it's only my husband that can see it.

Does that work? I wasn't sure if it would hit everyone's feed straight away, so making that sort of change might not change visibility as it was already there. I might try it if it does work...I've resisted using the Facebook side of social rewards so far.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I too have a facebook account that was set up only for myvegas, I also post social rewards stuff to it now.

It'll help you in the myvegas game to have some friends - just add anyone who has vegas, or myvegas as part of their name - start with me - Martin Vegas Robertson. I can honestly say that I don't have a single genuine 'friend' of the 1000 on that account.

As for twitter, I don't really care what they see because I don't have real friends on there (unless a few have found me but I don't use it for anything else!).

Careful with that - worth posting the occational non social rewards tweet as they 'can' block your account if there's evidence that it's only used for that purpose. Whether they will is a different matter but mine was temporarily blocked the other week when I used ,,,,,,,, to reach the required character count on a facebook post.

They re-instated it but warned me to be careful !!

I've been redeeming mine while always keeping 1000 points in it, that way I will definitely have 1000 points to redeem mid march to keep things live for September. I'm scared to redeem any more because sometimes it's a bit slow for getting points, and I want to make sure I have 1000. We started late September or early October, and we have 6000 each already in our Total Rewards accounts, equivalent to $60 for not much work! I'm very pleased.

I'll be trying to think what to spend them on nearer the time. Never used points at Caesar's Entertainment before, only managed to get enough to use at The Orleans in the past.

This is exactly how I work with Social Rewards, only cash out 1000 once I have 2000, thus always keeping 1000 just in case!

I've got it set to only be viewed by me, which means I'm not !!!!ing off mates by spamming their wall!

You can do it by clicking the 'cog' (top right hand corner), click 'account settings', then on the left hand panel click 'Apps', then 'Show All Apps'.

Once there, look for 'SR Application' and click 'Edit' and change 'Visibility of app' from 'public' to 'only me'.

To Social Rewards it looks like you've posted it on your wall (which you have), its just not viewable by anyone else (which Social Rewards don't see). :T

Those with 2nd facebook accounts for myVegas may find them being shutdown now..... lot of talk about it on the groups were profiles have been shutdown over past couple of days... or any who add 'name' MyVegas 'surname' as the profile, etc etc!

Might it be prudent for people who have MyVegas as their surname to change it to something else less obvious? I personally just use my normal FB acc, but good heads up for people who don't!

Not happy about that. My dad's account isn't his real name.

Thank you - that is really handy information for someone like me who used to be a cutting edge all the newfangled stuff girl but has gotten old and you know 'these kids today'.

I shall try this. Thank you very much.

But if I only have 3 shares (or whatever they are called) a day then maybe it doesn't make much difference to me...though I know there are some points I could collect via Facebook by favourting or something...I will go investigate.
