  • We are starting to book our extras for the holiday. I was gutted to see that David Copperfield isn't playing the week we are there but Penn and Teller will be just as good!

Does anyone know how to get discounts on the Penn and Teller tickets?

The links on the first page are a good resource for this sort of thing...they are regularly available on Travelzoo...if the current offer doesn't cover your dates then there will probably be a new one. We really liked P&T but it's one of those shows that opinions are really mixed.

I've also noticed a deal for Aliante Station. Looks nice (similar style to Red Rock Resort). Anyone stayed there?

We haven't stayed there but have been there a couple of times - it is very much like the other higher-end Station casinos and we really liked MRKT (steak and seafood) but we did have a Groupon or other sort of voucher. I like the casino - just nice general feel to it quite a lot like Red Rock as you say.

We have been to a show at Alexis Park. It seemed a nice place. I think it's timeshare. A bit like Desert Rose Resort but nicer lobby area.

Aliante is an attractive property. It was part of the Stations group at first. We had lunch at the buffet there after hiking at Mount Charleston once. Very nice.

I'm just looking at Groupon just now (I shouldn't really be looking at Groupon!!!), and I see a deal for $40 per night for Alexis Park - only a few blocks from the strip. Decided to look it up to see where it was and what it looks like. I actually looks decent. Never heard of anyone staying there though.

Has it been mentioned on here before?

Serendipity 3 on Groupon (https://www.groupon.com/deals/serendipity-3-140) has made me look at their breakfast menu on the basis we are staying 6 nights at Caesars and we have never had breakfast there...we don't seem to do the breakfast thing very often, really and assuming they have the patio open for breakfast it may be a nice option.

    Fried Eggs Benedict
Corn Meal Crusted Fried Poached Eggs, Classic Hollandaise &
Canadian Bacon atop Sausage Gravy & House Made Biscuit

And we have a winner...I cannot believe that I did not know this existed.

Call from CC company querying the Groupon charge coming up shortly!

We have a 2/1 for the buffet at Aliante Station. We might try it when we're out an about in the car then....if it's vaguely nearby at any point of course. 39 days to go!

I was referring to using Google maps on a computer, either before u go or using a machine in your room to plot where to go !!! :):)

    Bubbles:
Booking myVegas rooms is done on the number and redemption code u get when looking in 'mypurchases' in the myVegas game....
All the info what to do is in the game (under my rewards/my purchases, etc) :)
