Got seats at 8:01 this morning in bubble for 26th September - OH never been to the USA or on a plane with an upstairs. She also likes a window seat so I have accepted making a new friend in the aisle seat!!

The bubble sounds magical! I was amazed by the fact you got to walk downstairs to a toilet on the TC flights :o

Just a question to anyone who went at the start of May, what is the weather like? Done a few google searches but I always prefer "real" advice :)

We're holding on until OH's payday before we book anything, but I've already reserved a place for the pre-sale tickets for Rock in Rio USA. Just keeping our fingers crossed that One is still playing as OH has already called dibs on us going to see it one night. Going for 10 nights instead of 7 this time around, 14 nights is only £100 or so more but we think that might be a little too much Vegas in one go! (not to mention the impact on the waistline :p)

no such thing as too much Vegas!! :D
We did 2 weeks, and it still wasn't enough!

We went last year May 22nd for 10 nights, and this year May 19th for 14 nights...
Temp wise wasn't very hot at first, was only about 97F (36C) :D:D:D
Last few days of May, it hit 106F which is more to our liking (41 Celsius) :D

    Tenth Anniversary
The first 2 weeks in May this year were much cloudier and cooler than normal. It is usually sunny and around 95F or touching just under 100F.

nothing to say you couldn't use some of the nights to go explore somewhere nearby (LA, Grand Canyon, etc)...when we went to the GC we didn't check out of our Vegas room.

Which hotel? £25/night seems good value for many hotels.

We're going for 10 nights in October which is our longest trip...would love to do 2 weeks sometime but would absolutely have some side trips planned to minimize the potential impact of extra time in the casinos. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Have to agree with this. Our next trip is 53 days. We do a bit of travelling around the general area, but usually keep a room in Vegas for the whole time.

    Only 57 days to go.

Upstairs in the bubble, window seats have better leg room (width-wise) than the middle seats, aisle seats have awful legroom!

    so overall... good choices!

Serendipity 3 on Groupon (www.groupon.com/deals/serendipity-3-140) has made me look at their breakfast menu on the basis we are staying 6 nights at Caesars and we have never had breakfast there...we don't seem to do the breakfast thing very often, really and assuming they have the patio open for breakfast it may be a nice option.

    Fried Eggs Benedict
Corn Meal Crusted Fried Poached Eggs, Classic Hollandaise &
Canadian Bacon atop Sausage Gravy & House Made Biscuit

And we have a winner...I cannot believe that I did not know this existed.

Call from CC company querying the Groupon charge coming up shortly!

    Do I dont I

its only a $10 saving, it will cost way more than $25 for 2 breakfasts, once we add in desserts, and hot chocolates etc etc, but we are only at Flamingo and we have always fancied trying it.

    :p
