hi I'm a bit late catching onto this socialrewards lark. Joined up today using a little used twitter a/c I have. Do I click on each casino? SO far I've clicked on PH casino and with posts on twitter got 40pts from 3 shares. Is this the max you can get a day or could I get 40pts for each casino a day?0

You will notice that the pages have yellow stars on them. These are the ones still available to click - loads will be available when you have shares available, but you can still watch tube videos after using your shares. So you should aim to clear all the yellow stars daily, and by maximising your points - ie don't do the 5 point shares until the 15 point ones are all gone etc.
I've started making lists for our September trip. I have lists of LVA coupons (categorised by food/gambling/drinks/shows), then there's a list of groupons I've bought, then a list of Restaurant.com vouchers I have. My next list will be where we could spend our Social Rewards points0 -
I just paid our PH hotel bill with mine.0

One thing that confused me for ages about the youtube videos was when I would watch the video but the star would still be showing...drove me nuts - I thought it was broken as I knew I had watched the video (sometimes more than once)...it wasn't until one time I happened to scroll down and see that I could also share the video - and that's what the star was for, not watching the video. Then I felt a bit silly.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I'm kind of glad we're not alone.
We did get the receipt and I did question it at the Express booth and the girl said about the insurance waivers not being prorated...I had a pending query with Dollar as I thought my Express settings might have arguably overridden that and they might refund but they are sticking to their guns...and based on the T&Cs I can't see that they're wrong, as such..it just kind of sucks...to pay a full day's insurance waivers for a little over an hour.
Still, at least I can now say what the insurance-related costs are at LAS if anyone wants to compare to booking on dollar.com without any insurance waivers vs UK 3rd party all-inclusive.
No wonder car hire companies are not very well thought of, any excuse to fleece the customer.
Although, surprisingly, when I returned our Alamo car recently in DFW, I filled up the tank 9 miles from the airport then literally as I pulled up to the returns bay the needle dropped a few mm from the full line, couldn't believe it. I was expecting some sort of charge but the Alamo guy said he believed me and there was no charge (I should have kept the receipt).
One thing I've started doing on recent car hire bookings is playing around with the return time so I can take it back as late as possible without paying for an extra day. I'm sure you can return it an hour later than pick up time, so I normally set the return time to about an hour before our flight time, just in case we need it.0 -
Well off to bed now....up at five in the morning for taxi to airport.
13 nights in Vegas this trip, longest stay so far.
Already booked again for November.....13 nights then as well.0 -

Lol, have done that once or twice too.
I'm curious....I was reading on tripadvisor about using the Total Rewards points. People are saying don't charge stuff to your room then use the points at check out...because then tax is charged, whereas it's not added if you redeem at the restaurant. So, I'm also wondering....if it's happy hour can I sit and have half price drinks or appetisers - at half the price when I redeem? So, say I get a $12 cocktail on a half price happy hour...will they give me it for $6 worth of points? I'm just curious if happy hour would be exempt or anything?
Looked up Caesar's buffet, some poor reviews. I also thought it would be good to get the all day pass until I realised you have to pay an extra $30 for dinner using the daily pass!! So that takes it up to $80 plus tax for buffet food for the day....not sure I could justify that.0 -
Yeah Lesley. You just get your bill and pay with your points instead of cash... There's no weird rules to it where discounts don't apply if you use you TR points; you'd pay $6 - just make sure they also give you the discount for having a TR slot card. We noticed a few places seem to want you to ask for it even if you're paying with points!0

I've not checked if there are any exemptions (etc) but noticed if you join the magaritaville fan club, "FinsUp", you get a free appetizer - presumably when you buy a main?
Not sure of the detail but just in case it's of use:

Assume the non-mobile versions is here:

Love Margaritaville but the food is quite filling! (That's just Vegas full stop tho I guess! Can't recall anywhere where we have managed a starter and a main and not felt dead afterwards)
