Have a look on http://awt.cbp.gov for the official figures. Las Vegas is listed under McCarran, the airport name.
Excellent, thank you. The times look much shorter than NY. I have waited 3 hours in immigration at JFK before
I am flying into NY from Vegas, and I am assuming that as it is an internal flight, I won't have to go through immigration in NYSPC9 #125 - £816.85

I like this to get an idea of temps as depending on dates within a month it can be quite different (early to late)...Feb is pretty consistent though...some months the averages are very different from the start to the end of the month.

A quick question if I could. I am flying to Vegas on 16 June by Virgin, I vaguely remember a post saying that I can choose my seats 2 months in advance. Is this true, or am I dreaming?
It's 60 days vs 2 months but yes...so I think on the 17th it should open for you.

pennylane99 previously confirmed that the seat map opens at 8am at 60 days before - not to the time of your flight.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

rose.rabbit.lie dinner & canto
michael jackson one tickets
aria sunday brunch buffet
high roller at the linq (not yet booked tickets)
usual list of places we want to eat at, shopping, hotels to visit, etc. It'll all be on-Strip stuff.
toying with a cabana at Vdara, they're on offer until the end of April... anyone booked a cabana at a pool before? is it worth it?
Hi secretmachines
I've just been looking at the details for the High Roller, I see you've not booked yet, will you book when you get there? I was a bit concerned it might be booked up with it being new.
I think the night time visit is a must for us, I think I'll book a specific time rather than the day/three day flex tickets so it doesn't get too expensive.
Is anyone else planning to give this a go?Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0 -
Yes, you're correct. You only go through immigration when entering the USA at the "port of entry" airport, and there's no immigration involved for domestic flights.
Thanks, this is extremely good news
I have been reading through the posts and I have nothing at all booked, and no plans as to what to do whilst I am there. I should really start making a plan!!
Thanks again

i'll probably book in the next couple of days (we fly on Thursday), and will aim to book a time around sunset (7ish), so the lights are on but there's still a bit of daylight.
we're also just looking at our (loose) itinerary and haven't worked out which day to go yet!
you can select time slots through the website, so i'm sure these will get greyed out when they sell out - so maybe plug in a few times/dates and check likelihood of availability?0
