Seems expensive to me for the random dates I plugged in, but in case it's of use to anyone:

I think Cosmo rates are quite high anyway. Higher than they used to be. I've heard that Identity club members can get half off show tickets.0

The amount of people who come into by USD/EUR off me and quote the BBC rate is crazy really annoys me when they say i saw it on BBC breakfast at such and such a price
anything over $1.60 is a good price"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0 -
nah, didn't hit the $1.65, fairfx went to $1.6475
Makes a difference when your about to load £2,142 onto your card, extra dollars = extra gambling!!!
Kernow - I can imagine some see the inter rate and think that's what you should get in the shops, just a shame u cant buy at the inter rate!0 -

Last few trips, we've been relying more on the Post Office credit card for payments, and the Clarity for cash withdrawals... you run the risk if the rate drops (obviously) but then there's no additional fee for withdrawals etc. if you pay off straight away... which with free (ie. hotel) internet becoming more prevalent is a lot easier now. You also gain if the rate rises too
I also try to take some cash but will pick up a wodge on a trip to London where the rate is slightly better (Thomas Exchange is currently 1.661)- however I understand not everyone has that convenience

That depends, to me 1.60 is not bad but $2 is better, maybe it will get there again someday0 -
