What do you need to know about Social Rewards? There are a few of us on here collecting point, so hopefully someone can help you. I started it in October, and I have $130 worth of points in my total rewards account now, and a further 1200 points ($12worth) sitting in my social rewards account. I've been keeping 1000 points at all times so that if the programme stopped or slowed down I'd hopefully still be able to move out the points and keep my account active (you have to have a transaction every 6 month to keep it active).
I'd like to know more about the hashtag ones. I finally installed instagram on my phone, and connected it on social rewards. I have no idea how to post the pictures though. I did try posting a picture of bally's and I put #ballys whatever it is on the picture but it didn't seem to work. Can anyone explain how to do it?0 -
I'll do a proper trip report when I'm back, but if you're considering Rose Rabbit Lie, then just do it! The show is good fun, but the food... Wow! Not the cheapest, but certainly not extortionate - one of the best meals I've ever had, definitely the best dessert ever!0

You know you can use the 4th when you click to buy a reward, it shows you either "you have 3 rewards" or 4.......
For me, it was odd...
I made x2 $9 purchases, and it gave me 4th reward
On the wifes account, I made x3 $9 purchases and was still stuck on 3 rewards, so purchased the $39 chips and then got 4 rewards....
I've read that if most peeps buy the $39 package, and then maybe a $5 or $9, then the 4th reward comes along.....
Thanks Stuie.
I don't think it's worth it for me to possibly spend $48 with no guarantee that a 4th reward will open up as I was only looking to get 2 breakfast buffets.0 -
just a heads up to those thinking about using the Palazzo's drinks ordering at the machines - we think it's gone...we were at slots we previously used the option and it no longer appeared that we could see (we did have our cards in the machine). It could be that we missed it somehow but just wanted to mention it.
having a lovely trip so far. First few days were great gambling-wise, yesterday it turned on us but we went to Primm so not sure if it was Primm or the gambling gods just got mean.
Tried the new Double Barrel Roadhouse at MC ($50 MV dining credit). It's newly opened so we could forgive some of the issues with service and hope they will go away. The music was way too loud inside and the seats were really uncomfortable but the catfish sandwich was one of the best things I have ever had.
Saw Ka again via MyVegas and the theatre and stage are stunning...they have replaced one of the key bits with a video version after the death of a performer awhile back which I can understand, but it does detract a bit from the show (really not taking issue with them changing something for safety but it does impact the show).
Tonight is Michael Jackson and Tender which we are looking forward to. Probably heading for brunch at Hash House a Go Go shortly.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Did you get a surprise on your bill at DB Roadhouse? I heard they were adding all sorts of extras such as automatic gratuity, entertainment tax and one other I forget just now. The bill I saw posted on VMB made an $8 beer end up costing $11.0

A bit of sad news.
Lord_Jamesy (who was a facebook friend of mine because of MyVegas) died yesterday at the age of 36. He had a trip booked for him and his wife in December 2014, and was playing for rewards.
Sorry if it's inappropriate to post this here.0 -

Ours was OK (I think, now am wondering) but the people at the next table over had multiple issues with their order and bill. Hubby was not too impressed overall but I will have to go back for that sandwich sometime.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Also LOVED Michael Jackson One. LOVED. would still probably put Love very slightly above it due to being in the round and still think O is my favourite but thought MJ1 was brilliant.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
