For anyone looking to stay at the Cosmopolitan before the end of May, they've released a promotion that's available today only. $140/night for rooms up to one bedroom, including fountain view. I didn't check what dates it's valid on but I know it's a bargain across most nights in May.

I'm really looking forward to the festival, the shopping and watching the competitions should be fun! My husband is excited to see the classic car show too!
I'd say my style is rockabilly with a bit of pop punk goth thrown in, I'm not hugely fussed for rockabilly music but like you I also love the tattoos and I'm going to get some leopard print tattooed on me this year (was going to do it before Vegas but that would mean I couldn't go in the pool!)
The tatoos I am most intrigued by are the seamed legs that look like seamed stockings
I see Ferf says she worries that she is staring.....I do stare LOL0 -
Sitting having breakfast in a cafe in Virginia City NV. Thought I'd say hello. This is a traditional old mining town with wooden boardwalks and saloons etc. extremely pretty. Just a shame they haven't kept the 19th century prices.0

Not sure how this compares to the normal rates at the Platinum but maybe of use:

Just sent an email off asking to get our June stay rate reduced. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
exchange rate is looking good at the moment...
does anyone use moneycorp for currency delivery? seems to be the best rate at the moment?0 -

Practice proper hand hygiene
Wash your hands carefully with soap and water, especially after using the toilet and changing diapers and always before eating or preparing food. If soap and water aren't available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. These alcohol-based products can quickly reduce the number of germs on hands in some situations, but they are not a substitute for washing with soap and water.
Wash laundry thoroughly
Immediately remove and wash clothing or linens that may be contaminated with vomit or stool. Handle soiled items carefully—without agitating them—to avoid spreading virus. If available, wear rubber or disposable gloves while handling soiled clothing or linens and wash your hands after handling. The items should be washed with detergent at the maximum available cycle length and then machine dried.

I knew there'd be a reason to bring up laundry in the thread again! Hurrah for Vdara's in-room washing machine & tumble dryer!0 -

While I am in the laundry in Vegas club...I'm hoping to never be in this particular club.
Thanks for the heads up...I was really ill once in Vegas (mostly over within 8 hours so not norovirus, I don't think) and it was not fun and I barely ate anything the rest of the trip which for me is huge and was quite disappointing to be in Vegas and unable to even consider eating anything of any substance.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
