I really want to get this but every time I've looked for a couple of months it's been sold out. Same with the NYNY one. :(

We have stayed at Orleans a couple of times when the rockabilly festival is on. Great experience and atmosphere, the girls look fantastic with the way they dress and their tattoos,

    Are you a rockabilly ?

That's good to hear that it's a great atmosphere :D I'm really looking forward to the festival, the shopping and watching the competitions should be fun! My husband is excited to see the classic car show too!

I'd say my style is rockabilly with a bit of pop punk goth thrown in, I'm not hugely fussed for rockabilly music but like you I also love the tattoos and I'm going to get some leopard print tattooed on me this year (was going to do it before Vegas but that would mean I couldn't go in the pool!)

I agree with this...I find rockabilly girl style fascinating and always worry that I'm staring...I probably am but it's only because they are just the epitome of cool to me. :) Maybe we will wander over to Orleans,.

One week from now we'll hopefully be at immigration...starting to get excited...mostly packed too.

We're staying at Caesars, Cosmo, Mirage and TI...a bit overkill, though only moving properly twice (Mirage is double booked and we'll just pack an overnight bag) but first time we've made more than one move...will be interesting to see how we like it. I am worried that having only 2 nights in the last hotel will make the last few days seem to go fast and be unsettled but we'll see.

We have a few things planned

Ka (we've seen it before but this time via MyVegas)
Michael Jackson One on Easter followed by Tender (MyVegas $75)
Vegas! the Show if I can talk hubby into it since Taylor Hicks has abandoned us.
    Pink Box Doughnuts
    Rollin Smoke BBQ
    Peppermill
    Aria lunch buffet (MyVegas)
    Mirage breakfast/lunch buffet (MyVegas)
Meal at Monte Carlo (MyVegas, hoping you can use it at the new roadhouse restaurant)
    Lunch with pebbles
Geocaching day my hubby normally grants me on the basis it keeps us out of the casino
    Da Vinci exhibit at Venetian

And general gambling, some shopping, maybe a foot massage, eating in addition to the above. And most importantly, not being at work! :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

You should also try social rewards where you share things on twitter and Facebook to get total rewards (caesars properties) points. I got 7000 in 3 months on my and OHs account which was a welcome $140 to spend on food and drink in the caesars properties (can also be used for shows and shopping)
Start now especially if you need to sign up to Twitter. I think it took 8 weeks before the twitter would work as it was a new account.
It's much less effort than my vegas.

agree - I also like that you can just transfer for Total Rewards credits and spend how you like...no stalking a particular reward...most of the time I do my Social Rewards stuff waiting for the bus home. :) I think I earned about the same as you in the same period with minimal effort, relatively speaking.

Exactly. A couple of minutes per person sharing and then hiding things on Facebook for a good return. The people that follow me on twitter got a bit annoyed though. We're probably not going for a few years so I'm able to have a rest from it.

Really easy to sign up to the total rewards and then we picked up the cards in planet Hollywood not long after we landed.
