ive got a few old mousemats in the puter drawer so pleased ive now thought of a use for them.
they could also be covered to make table mats i suppose if anyone wanted to do those.

Carla, i love the cushion, looks beautiful and bright

I use a mouse mat with a wrist support - it is a bit tired looking - well - a lot really. Think I will have a go at tarting it up.

Hi Flowerofscotland. I must have missed a post along the way how do I add to the Flickr group? lol

I have not been feeling great recently. My brain is bored and wants to craft really badly but my body doesnt want to respond :mad: I havent even looked at the minion hat that is well overdue as a gift but i want to finish the gruffalo and I really want to make my sons keepsake blanket. Too much fun things to do I need to feel better and more energetic. x

Aw thats such a lovely thing to do Ailsb. I think it took me a couple of months to complete. I had great fun stitching it and along the way I had been reading Philippa Gregory's books on Henry VIII's wives and it was even more fun working on the characters I was reading in the books. I love all of her books lol. If you enjoy reading and haven't read her books I would highly recommend it. x

i love philippa gregory book as well, i think my favourite wife of his was Catherine of Arragon, i loved 'her' book the constant Princess.

Yes I loved the constant Princess but I cant see there has been any of her books I didnt like. The White queen, the other boleyn girl, wideacre, I loved them all. Oh I could go on and on about her books lol and my other favourite author is Jodi Picoult. Goodness me I better stop talking about it or I will go on a reading spree instead of crafting haha

i agree shes a brilliant author i love reading her work, the little house was brilliant but in a modern setting if you havent read that, its about a young wife with a really domineering mother in law.
youve made me want to attack my bookshelves again now but i need to get some crafting done.

All you need to do is request to join the group

Once accepted you will see an Add Photos button and when you click it you can select photos from your photos tram on Flickr

I didn't know she wrote modern books as well. Am off to Amazon to check it out....... I may be gone some time

Have added 3 very ordinary ('vanilla') Christmas cards to flickr. Am well pleased because while I was raking through my boxes I found a phone cable that I needed. I find I am short of card blanks but apart from this have plenty to make if the weather turns bad.
