hanging is now complete, i backed it with felt, then used an old mousemat inside to give it a bit of rigidity then after hand sewing along the bottom i used some old cord from one of those plastic draw string bags to make the hanger. (i just hand sewed that along the sides and knotted it off at the bottom.)

thats 3/14 complete now but ive got some that will take a long time so will be slowing down and evening out soon.

Carlamarie and lyndsey, SANDS are a nationwide charity, they have a facebook group and website if you would like to have a look. It's a wonderful charity and I did a fun run for them last year. They supported me when my son was still born and they are very close to my heart. They do memory boxes, it might be worth giving them a call if you want more information. Hope I'm not poking my nose in where it's not wanted, just wanted to pass on what I know.

    Lovely makes everyone.

Wow it's been lovely seeing what others have achieved in just over a week. I will try and reactivate my Flickr account so I can also post photos of Wip's to satisfy Carla's curiosity. It'd be a great way to remind myself of my own progress - it has focused my mind and I've completed more on my cross stitch - why did I choose a night time scene? Oh yeah at one stage I was going to stitch a whole set! Also added top and bottom border to EA's quilt and added applique baby face. Trying to stitch every day.

Only managed to get one cushion cover done, decided that instead of plain red I would use some fabric (or rather one of the duvet covers I got for£2 in a Wilkos sale last year) and use the red for the back.
So this means I need to do another two still!
I'm happy with the front but the instructions that I used left the envelope back a little short, but I'll know to add extra on the other two!

Will hopefully get the other two done over weekend so that I can cross another one off my list!

Going to try work out how to add to the flickr group too

Loving the Lullaby Cottage cross-stitch :)

I think you can rotate your own photos on flickr (but not anyone else's photos).
Click your photo so its the only one you see.
Click the 3 dots bottom right corner of the frame and then the top word on the list should be 'rotate', click this.
Then choose which way up looks best, click the one you choose.
