14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie

Finally finished Let's do wine - yeh.

No way will I do my 14 projects this year but I will keep plodding on.

Here is my up to date list - 6/14 completed
1. Thank you cards - changed to 6 general purpose cards – done 19/1/14
2. Finish Stargazer Lily picture
3. Finish 'Let's do wine' - yep it's still around!! -finished yeh 02/11/14
4. Penguin doorstop
5. Thomas the Tank montage - for DS2
6. Birthday card for niece – done 08/02/14
7. Ballet Bear – done 02/02/14
8. Mother's day cards x 2 and notebook for DH mum. Done 16/3/14
9. Misc cards to use up terracotta pots Done 07/04/14
10. Russian doll picture for niece's birthday Done 04/08/14
11. 6 trinket boxes for gifts – cross stitch done just decoupage to do done 02/11/14
12. xmas coasters - set of 6

I can't believe its been so long since I last posted! I also can't believe that I haven't managed to finish anything from my list since my last post. Naughty step for me I think



OK so here we go update time from me again
(although, yet again, I haven't really got much more to report since my last update!) :-



1.Project Life Scrapbook- completed up to week 40 - cannot be finished until end of year but just ordered more photos and will be working to get up to date to wk 45 once they arrive
2. Disney Holiday Scrapbook - took advantage of a massive discount on a photo site and got it printed out as a photo book - now just need to pretty up the pages by adding embellishments, memerobilia etc to complete it
3. Good Memories 2014 jar - completed Jan 14
4. Button balloon family picture canvass
5. Inspiration jar for days when my crafting mojo is lacking - completed July 14
6. Marvel Picture for daughter - completed July 14
7. Marvel Picture for Son - completed July 14
8. Pen Storage Holder for Craft Room (to hold my promarkers & spectrum noirs) - completed July 14
9. Universal and SeaWorld Holiday Scrapbook
10. Inspirational canvas for daughter
11. Door sign for son's room

So, I've replaced two that weren't going to happen with two that should.

Now I'm going to head off and make a start on that yellow baby wooly. I love knitting baby clothes as I learn so much so quickly - the garments are so small!

I've come to the conclusion that I will finish 13½ of the projects on my list this year. I may need to graft another finish into the list in order to have a full house, but I'll know that I will have completed 14 projects anyway, right? :P

I've done about half the back of the yellow baby wooly today, so that will happen OK. I also decided that I may very well get into premature baby knits for local hospitals, so I'll need to find out about what's needed where and get some very soft yarn - extra delicate skin, I expect, poor little scraps!

Well I've been busier than I thought. Managed to complete 22 projects so far.

Knitted snowman just needs stuffing and the base sewn up, but I've run out of stuffing until Friday.

Starry, Starry Night will be carried over to next year as no way will it be finished unless I break a leg :eek:

Hoping to finish my cardigan before the end of the year, nearly at the half way mark so will keep at it.

Looking back at what I've done this year makes me realise just how much time I spend crafting :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
