Wow! Seeing the progress folks are making is inspirational!
I've been a bit lazy lately, but I'm getting back on the bandwagon. I have picked up my knitting today and should finish a beaded scarf by the weekend. I've also sorted out the pattern pieces to make a dress for granddaughter. And today I've started on son's wedding stationery.
Hmm, I feel better after writing that down.
Keep going, friends.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

I started by removing all the stickers and tea stains. Took all the handles off and spray primed the carcasses. Three coats of Satinwood then covered the drawer fronts with patchwork fabric stuck on with double sided tape.
I have since sold one and the other is on my landing with household paperwork in the top drawers and craft stuff in the bottom.
Also finished my printers tray.

This cost £10 from a flea market. It has been sanded down and had three coats of spray satin varnish. A visit to b and q for wallpaper samples and many hours with scissors and pva and it's finished. Attached to wall with two mirror brackets.Cross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44:rudolf:Cross Stitch Is For Life Not Just For Christmas :rudolf:0 -
Ooooh - crafting mad. I need to make a scissor pot for my craft room.... How did you do your pot for your pens?
The only things I have knocking about are glass and just feel that scissors and a must woman shouldn't be thrown into a glass pot...
And tricksie - I love the printers box you have done. I always thought they were thimble display cabinets and have wanted one for ages.
Will have to get googling. It looks incredible that must have taken ages. Was always planning to paint mine to put little bits in - mostly kinder egg toys as we seem to have a wee addiction in my house.
Loving the photos. Will upload some of my last few finished projects as soon as I find the camera cable.
Please excuse any typing errors I'm on my broken phone as the heating is broken so I won't get out of bed.

Thank you. Yes it did take ages but so please with the result. I collect cats so at the moment it has three tiny ornaments in it. I don't want to fill it but if I find any tiny cats in the charity shop I'll get them.Cross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44:rudolf:Cross Stitch Is For Life Not Just For Christmas :rudolf:0 -

Crackers were made from inner made from card (4 per A4 card, £1 for 15 sheets from The Works); paper from Lidl (£1 per roll, haven't used much yet); nice foil gift tags for numbers (30p for 20, B&M? I visited a few shops!) Alternated 2 xmas papers and they look really pretty. Haven't managed to suss adding photo :-(
