    Evening.
    Hope everyone is well.

Ailsb thank you, I hope to use it as I want to start making my own clothes again. The wall paper was from a friend who brought about 6 rolls to many and didn't want to take them back.

Greentiger thank you for the link.

Oops - looks like I was given praise for a cushion - I didn't make.
Mr F found a pair of Diesel jeans when he was out walking our dog.
Someone had dumped them with a piece cut out of the leg part. I washed and
pressed them then cut them up.
Finished making a raggy rag bag - used the jeans.
The largest piece of fabric needed to make the bag is 9 inch square. Didn't
have quite enough fabric so put lining material in the top side gusset. Took
the finished bag outside to brush the raggy rag edges - makes lots of mess.
    Size of bag is - 16 x 14 x 4 1/2 inches. This is a Christmas present for
    DDIL.
I am going to make myself one of these bags for when I visit a show - nice
size to carry and the straps are long enough for on shoulder.
I used vintage trims and buttons to embellish the bag.

mrs-moneypenny, thanks for info re other thread. I looked at that thread some time ago and couldn't make sense of it at all! I went back for a nosey today and I am beginning to understand it! It's a wonderful idea, loving hands.

Well I made my son's engagement card. Future DIL's favourite colour is blue and she adores so stars, so that was the inspiration for the card. Although it looks white in the picture, the card is actually pale blue. Sorry bits of kitchen are in the shots, but that's where the light was best tonight.

I also made a sympathy card, but I forget to take a pic before I sent it off.

That should leave just 1 card to make for April - my dear future DIL's birthday card. I'm also going to do an April stitchery like my February one, for her, but I won't start that for another week as we are going on holiday - with daughter, SIL, gson (5), son, future DIL, gson (also 5) and gdaughter (2). I'll have to look for something to take with me, although things can get so hectic it might not get touched!

    afternoon all
love the bag and the cards Florenceem

greentiger i think the knit a square thread has evolved and us on it assume others can understand it but it has changed over the years and where we used to send a lot of good cause items to lou on loving hands or through the post to various causes since the post charges have become extortonate we are tending to try and do things for causes local to us and just post what weve done and for where. also because its been the same group for so long it does tend to get lots of non good cause related chat and crafts. i hope that doesnt take anything away from what goes on on there and also hope it wouldnt put others of joining us.

    Evening all

Florence your bag is very clever well done and well done on your cards.

Green tiger your cards are very nice.
Those who receive both of your card's Will be very happy.

This is my latest finished project. I'm quite pleased with it more so because it cost nothing, everything was left over from other things.

It's meant to be a bin for the craft room but I think it may be a storage container instead.

Mrs M I sent some squares last year and it was quite expensive, but I do think your right people tend to do things closer to home now maybe the post office should do a special tarrif for charity post. Know they won't could be nice.

    Anyway night and take care
